False alarm. No one had Ebola. My wife is on the RIOT (can't remember what it stands for, but basically a response team for infectious diseases to include Ebola). She was not contacted about it.

Turned out to be Malaria.

And the person in question didn't just show up to the ER, they were being monitored by the Health Department for several days since they got back from West Africa, they developed fever, and the BFRS went to his house to pick him up, already knowing the situation.
