Actually for a basketball career they are very troubling. Lots of big guys with bad feet don't recover so yeah it could be fatal to his basketball career. It wa dumb to draft a guy with injury problems. It was a wasted pick the guy will not even make the roster. We already have five bigs in Marc, Z-Bo, Wright, Green and Stokes so I don't see him taking spots over them maybe Jarnell but odds are he won't even be on the roster either.

Repeating from an earlier post:
I'm assuming the Grizz drafted Martin knowing he's going to be healthy. Anything otherwise just doesn't make sense for this new regime which has done pretty well so far.
Martin will be behind ZBo.
Jam Green didn't play much last year, isn't playing much during the summer league and I doubt he gets to play much this upcoming season. Stokes will be lucky to make it past this year.
Wright is Gasol's backup, so no worries there.
The PF and C positions are not stacked. Martin, given his talent, is basically behind Gasol, ZBo and Wright. Assuming he gets healthy, he'll get playing time in this rotation.

Time will tell - hard to be confident given their drafting history AND history of consistently playing/developing the players they do draft.

The new regime doesn't have any history yet to fall back on. Let's look five years down the line and see what happens with the young guys.
