I guess nothing really. Maybe it's no different than wanting to be an astronaut, baseball player, doctor or whatever.... the problem is that she built an entire life around a lie. There's nothing she could do to actually be black.

I have a friend who legally changed her name from Caro to Carol in order to get a job in Scottsdale AZ. In essence, letting people believe she was Anglo instead of Mexican. Everyone that it was brilliant.

If you defend what this woman is doing, or what Bruce Jenner is doing, then the EEOC is dead. All a company has to do is to have a group of their white males say they identify as a woman or an african american, and no bias for discrimination will be found. In fact, they can say a majority of their white male owners identify as a black female, and the company would be entitled to bid on projects as a minority owned company and get preferential treatment.
