Mike Slive just quit his gig, that would be a hell of a hire.

I'm not too worried. That's a statement I rarely say, because I'm a realist in most things. If Troy ponies up cash like they ponied up for our football staff, we'll make another great hire. John Hartwell did a lot of great things for Troy, and I'm optimistic we'll hire another great athletic director.

I hate to see a quality AD leave with less than 3 years on the job, hoping it was just a rumor, anyway Troy shouldn't have a problem finding a quality replacement.

Was he not getting enough steak in Troy? Lol jk. He was a good AD for you guys that really supported Troy and the league. I hope you guys find a good replacement.

Got wind of this about a month ago. Couldn't comment on it as I was sworn to secrecy. Have a very good friend who is close to Hartwell.

Hartwells salary at Troy was 216k. Utah State was paying their previous AD 404k

I've known Wayne for 30+ years. One of a kind indeed! He will land at somebody's tailgate everywhere he goes. He filled me all in on the Idaho trip. Sounded like a real good time. We've made a lot of road trips over the years and I had planned to come down with him for the App game last year, but things didn't work out. Look me up if you're making it to Boone this year. BTW, love the Hemi Man". Been a Mopar guy since high school.

Why all the hate for Scott Farmer? Before he got there you guys sucked in football and barely moved the meter on the national stage. Baseball & Softball are good and have been historically.
