I don't mind the design but the state of Illinois doesn't look good to me at all...it needs a black or red outline. Right now it looks like a random green blob.

I get what you're sayin' but I think if you outline it would give too much emphasis to it.......

I hope it looks better in person or on TV than it does to me in those pictures/videos. There is almost no distinction between the state outline and the actual color of the field

Yeah, and the subtlety is kind of the point of that design choice.

It looks good to me. The alternating stripes aren't too obnoxious, and I like the Illinois outline being a little muted.

I have no complaints. Just want to see some more good football, that's all.

It looks a lot better in person. The colors really pop compared to the old worn field. The state does not look like a blob in person. It looks obvious and needs no obnoxious border. NIU is emphasized and nothing between the end zones should or will take away from that.

I'll be honest boys, i knew early cuz i got drunk with my source. In order to protect the stream of knowledge they divulge me I'm keeping shut on what he tells me. I will say, for all you realignment fans... they did say we've been both making and fielding calls from the AAC and (mostly) making calls to the B12

And the lines aren't painted over it yet, so it stands out more than it will when it's done. Remember, it's not finished yet.

I'll bet the color is awesome.

Remember the first time you watched the Wizard of Oz? You know the scene where it goes from "Black & White" to Color.....That's what it's going to be like when EMU fans visit in October.
