Baton Rouge regional. That's a sobering thought. Lol

Just go ahead and proclaiming it now before the NCAA makes it official tomorrow. We all know its coming.
I doubt you'll be the 4 seed at least. Probably a 3.

What a great game. I would have to say that this probably the best conference championship game ever. That winning grand slam was epic, but I wonder why USA pitched around 2 batters to get to Trosclair, who is in 2nd in the league at home runs. (but I am glad they did, just seems odd)
Great tournament for all the teams!

I don't know that seemed strange. To set up a force at every base? Seems the consequences outweighed the odds.

We don't have an answer for that. I would have left it up to the pitcher and the defense myself. I understand the strategy behind it, but that goes out the window when the batter that would be coming up is the #2 HR guy in the conference. Odd call really.
Good game though. Good luck in the regionals!

No way the Cajuns are a #4 seed. Easily a #3 seed.
Baton Rouge is certainly not a given, especially with Tulane having an excellent shot to make the field. Tulane would be a logical #3 seed in Baton Rouge. Meanwhile, you have four Texas regionals that will need #3 seeds … three within the NCAA 400 mile bus trip limit for the Cajuns.
See the breakdown I did concerning regionals sites in the geographical area and teams that could be slotted in these regionals.

No, not to have a force at every base. Calvi was trying to play the odds by having his right-hander face a right-handed bat, instead of the also dangerous left-handed Clement. Obviously it did not work … but it is obvious what he was trying to do.
Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns - Sun Belt Baseball Champions again!

I predict Baton Rouge. Though I do agree that you could potentially go to Texas.
I still pick Baton Rouge. They will screw the SBC team, and not Tulane.

You have a biased state of mind, they would protect lsu and not send us there...the last team the tigahs wanna see.., is the cajuns as a #3 in their regional. Especially this young salty club who really doesn't know any better.i predict college station

When we won 2 of 3 in Lafayette honestly I didn't think the Cajuns would finish in top 4 of league. But unlike the Eagles you guys played much better down the stretch. I give a lot of credit for losing the first game of tourney and getting it done.

I think a lot of it has to do with how highly of a 3 seed they rate you. LSU will be a top 3 National seed, and those guys usually get a weak 2 seed and a mediocre 3. Does the NCAA see you guys as a difficult 3 who is raring to go, or a mediocre 3 seed who only snuck into the tournament because they got hot at the right time in their conference tourney?
Of course, there is always one 3 seed this year that gets sent to some god forsaken West School. Maybe you guys will be that unlucky school. There's a 400 mile rule for bus trips, but not flights. In other words, you either go really close, or really far away.

Lsu, texas A&M and houston most likely all host, slu is out... That leaves us and tulane... We aren't getting sent west but I just think they will protect lsu and possibly A&M. I coukd see us going anywhere of those 3 and maybe dallas baptist
