I can see the accident from my office window - looks like it just cleared (4:50 pm). It was on the southbound (outbound side) so it won't impact folks headed northbound to the game. However the traffic on 59 into the city always sucks, particularly on Friday evenings.

ODU lost again today. They will not make the tournament if either Charlotte or Marshall win both of their remaining games.

Heard a rumor that tonight's game has been postponed until Saturday. I heard there would be a Saturday doubleheader starting at noon. Can anyone confirm?

The video for this song is absolutely wack. It is such a period piece (in the worst way possible), and yet it has Gene Kelly. I'm not going to link to it here; watch it at your own peril. Good music (of course), very questionable artistic choices.

On a related note, the ELO version of Xanadu is infinitely better than the one that was recorded for the "movie" (ugh). It's obvious that Lynne should have been the one to perform it in the first place.

So the doubleheader starts at noon and both games will be seven inning affairs. No 8th or 9th inning rallies unless it goes extras. We better be on our toes.

USM comes back with a five run inning of their own in the top of the 7th to lead again 12-8 over Middle Tennessee in a game where runs come in bunches.
