Rockets took 2 out of 3 from Ohio. UT won the series finale 6-4 in 15 innings.

Here's a link to the game story. Up next for the Rockets? Well, as usual, I'm confused. According to the story (at least as of now) the Rockets play at Wright State on May 5th. According to the schedule on the UT site, however, the Wright State is Tuesday of next week (May 12th).

Next conference matchup is this weekend, as the Rockets host Miami for 3.

Article's been corrected. Next game is against the RedHawks on Friday, not against Wright State Tuesday

No, that's not a mistake. That's really the score. RedHawks scored in every inning but the sixth. Had 9 in the 2nd, 7 in the 8th.

Ouch.

At this point in the season that score is unbelievable...no self respecting team would get in that mess. Never been a BB fan and I wish we could get out of BB and put the money to other sports.
Who cares that the MAC would disagree.
BB is a waste.

Saw that on the news tonite. The sportscaster said the Rockets don't even deserve ice cream after that. LOL.

Rockets bounce back after being humiliated on Friday. Defeat Miami 11-6 on Saturday. Series finale on Sunday.

Turned out to be a decent weekend for UT baseball despite Friday's fiasco. Rockets end up taking 2 of 3 from Miami after defeating the RedHawks 6-2 on Sunday.

Good thing nothing in the standings is determined by run differential in a series.

Watched the game on the internet for a couple of reasons....first time I saw a UT baseball game in ages and to try and judge the calibre of play in the MAC. Greatly disapponted on both counts! I did think freshman Montoya looked pretty good and he had a nice HR shot late in the game. Too many UT errors and the pitchers couldn't throw strikes. I turned the game off before it ended and watched the Arkansas/Creighton game on ESPN. Night and day difference in the quality of play! Too bad, we used have good teams!

When did Toledo, never even a MAC champion, ever have a good baseball team? We were only moderately bad a year or two ago when we made the finals and that's the best I can recall.
