Terps were a pre-season top 5 team before this. Why not go for broke? Maybe get a nation championship out of it.

Turgeon has his flaws without a doubt. Just like every other coach. All I am saying is that we have a shot at a N.C. There is a lot that will factor into it and an ENTIRE SEASON of ball to be played. It is just fun to think about. It has been a while since MD has been relevant on the national stage and most fans are just trying to enjoy it.

Well he is recruiting better...just needs some breaks like UConn rcvd multiple times.

I hope we can get some good breaks…but I'm not an optimist. I think the Terps finished 2nd nationally in KenPom's luck category last year. So the odds of it happening again are not good. Be here's to hope!

This move could easily backfire by ruining team chemistry. Dude was addition by subtraction for Duke.

That could happen. We all will have to wait and see. But, from what I've read. The team voted unanimously to bring him in. So I don't think it is going to go that way. But as I said, wait and see.
