No matter who is coach what an addition to the backcourt this would be.

RE: Good Lord ,Get This Graduate Transfer!
Problem is, if there is little to know prior relationship it's hard to gin one up. Plus, the 2/3 is not where Memphis can promise minutes.

He was recruited by VCU in high school and with their losses at guard, that would be a start. Maybe Maryland or Gtown, too.

We could very easily promise minutes at the 2 since no one played it all year long on our team.

Never a good sign when our recruiting strategy has evolved to "scanning the waiver wires".

Avery Woodson has the 2 minutes locked up...

The only way Woodson could average 21 points is if he was playing in a nerf league against my two year old and even then his field goal percentage would be horrible.

Woodson isn't a bad player, he's just best suited coming off the bench and stand on the 3 point line.

Yep. Well stated. We are at a whole new level of suckiness. Even the Tic years didnt resort to this Shiiiit. In Tic and Johnnys last year they secured Scooter and several other good HS prospects.

Tic was supposedly our LOW point. JP has us right back to that point but worse.

IMO, unless he is a true PG, CJP shouldn't even consider a transfer in the guard position. Don't we have enough 2/3's already?

Everyone will want this kid. He's the #5 scorer in the country.

HIGHLY doubt we land him or even get in the mix.

Yep!

It is a terrible sign. There is enough talent in Memphis to field 2 division 1 programs a year and Pastner is basically locked out b/c of guys like tarik black, joe jackson, adonis thomas, and nick king. These guys are huge role models for local kids and they talk. Their relatives, coaches, and friends talk. Thats not a good thing for JP.

Please! Get real. Your history may be foggy on the Tic Price years. And Scooter, that really worked out didn't it?
