Texas Tech-Arizona Home/Home
Reportedly, Texas Tech and Arizona have signed a 2 year deal to play each other in 2019 & 2020. We finish our 2 game series with Arkansas this season and play Arizona St in 2016 & 2017.

I like the way we are scheduling OOC now. 1 P5 school (need 1 P5 OOC in 2018) & 2 G5 schools.

Supposedly, we were looking at an SEC school but I like playing PAC 12 schools.

Thanks. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing us play in Tempe and Tuscon.

Easy drive from Lubbock too! I attended a game about 10 years ago at Tech versus UT. Really awesome watching your intro and seeing the tortillas flying. The place was packed and about 3-4k over capacity.

I live in Austin but it will be easy to fly into Phoenix and Tuscon. I have been to Arizona numerous times and I can't wait to go back.

We don't fare all that well vs UT but Lubbock is a crazy place when the Horns come to town. I wasn't able to attend the 2008 UT-Tech (UT was #1 in the country) but the videos from that weekend are amazing. Tech won 39-33

They will likely be rescheduling those games again in the relatively near future when Tech plays in the Pac but for now it is a great way to gauge the reaction in regards to the idea of playing the Arizona teams to the West instead of the Arkansas team to the East.

If the Big 12 folds, I like our chances of going to the PAC. We provide a ton of TV sets in Texas (DFW, Houston, Austin) if they choose to invite us but I think we stay with UT.

I don't think anything happens until the GOR ends.

Edit: We played Arizona and Arizona St as members of the Border conference.

Nothing secretive about it. Tech is upgrading their OOC schedule and I like it.

If things work out, I will be in Fayetteville for the 2015 Tech-Arkansas game but I know that will never be an SEC Conference game. I'm not sure that we ever join the PAC but I do like the OOC match ups. Small private schools in Texas could learn a lesson or 2.

Kliff and Texas Tech beat TCU in 2013 and we remember the 82 they hung on us in Ft Worth in 2014.

No doubt that Tech needs to start beating Baylor again. We won 15-16 straight and 1 stupid 2009 decision by the Tech admin altered that.

Even though, we play in Ft Worth every other year, I hope we keep SMU on future schedules. Decent stadium, beautiful women from both schools and an easy trip for our fans.

I was at the 2013 Tech-SMU game and didn't see that many tortillas. You know how to stop that don't you? Same thing with senior corp turds and the deafening/hideous sounds of "whoop" and "farmers fight" etc.
