RE: wnit bracket
Glad to see MT as #1 seed in M'boro regional (presumably). Assuming we beat Ball State and A-State/WMU winner, should be good set up for potential championship.

There are no seeds in the WNIT. You bid to host, and get paired regionally. The fact you guys got put at the top of one side of the bracket is just dumb luck. I know we were considered the top team not to make the NCAA by the so called experts this year, but that doesn't mean we are the higher seed either.
I'll be curious to see if we do both win who bids the most to host that game. You guys have more money, but our administration has a tendency to bid high in these things after we low balled the tournament last year and got shipped to El Paso.

Attendance is a big factor and MT draws way better than avg

Generally that does the trick, though its not a sure thing. We've hosted Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Arkansas in this thing in recent years. They all drew better than us, we just put more money down.
I imagine if we win, we get to renew our acquaintances with the old house of horrors that is the Murphy Center, but you never know. I really want this matchup though. We've got one of our best teams in the last decade or so. Want to see if this is more of a product of you guys leaving, or if we really are improving to this extent.

I looked up some attendance number. OM with that powerful sec schedule outdraws Southern miss by a grand total of 100 per game.
