What exactly did josh show you? That he can't get the respect of a referee even when he tries like hell to? Burrell and Godfrey showed me something tonight. Not Pastner

You still didn't answer my question. What did josh show you? You said "we" in your responding post. Which is actually correct. The team showed a lot tonight

Tell the UConn board whiners to take a look at the replay of Shaq's game winner and ask them why Brahim is attempting to mate with Godfrey from behind?
That was a bad no call. The ref saw it directly in front of him and swallowed the whistle. Of course, they did on Boatwright's drive, too.

U can't have logical questions and concerns with things about the direction of a program because we win an ugly game? Defense and toughness won that game. Burrell played out of his mind for the hometown friends and family but to act like we are now world beaters or something is silly. One game could've gone either way. Hell of a defensive effort ESP that last possession with the shot clock violation. Guys didn't quit which does show some heart and toughness going forward. Thought Godfrey and Shaq played well too. They were being tough down low. Win at cincy and who knows. This conference sucks so it's not impossible we could win the tourney. Unlikely but not impossible.

Aahh come on MemTiger90, you don't think CJP had a good game tonight? Timely timeouts, as much as you are whining about him not getting the respect of the refs, we actually got some calls (and no calls) at the end of the game. He called a play at the end of the game that worked by identifying a match up (Shaq on Nolan) that gave us an edge.
It's been a terrible year for Josh, but I have to give him credit tonight. He coached a good game.

Sad when you can't give the coach of the team you are supposed to support credit when they pull out a game they should not win but you sure jump on him when they lose.

They did beat Tulsa by 25, Cincinnati by 6 and SMU by 8 at home with their only conference home loss against Temple in OT.
We would've beat ECU, Temple, & Tulsa if Austin hadn't been hurt.

What would getting a Technical Foul at that point in the game do for Memphis other than giving them more free throws.
Coach Pastner walked three quarters of the length of the floor to make sure the Ref noticed his displeasure with the officiating.
At the critical point of the game he called a time out and called a successful play that won the game.
What more can you want; what more can you ask????

I found it ironic that during a timeout, the official had the audacity to ask Pastner what he was doing at mid court, after Burrells "foul". Obviously he didn't see the last game where 2 UCT players came off their bench, to hang out at ours.

That he can sweep the defending national champions two years in a row.
That he can win in a hostile road environment with horrendous officiating hamstringing his team.
That he can motivate Burrell and Godfrey to step up to help offset the injury loss of Nichols.
You said it jokingly, but you and others do "stir the pot" in the extreme. You go out of your way to criticize Pastner, to piss on him at every opportunity. Virtually every thread is crammed with ceaseless, continuous, unrestrained dogging of him. We get it - you and the others (who for some inconceivable reason are silent tonight) want Pastner fired...sacked...terminated...dismissed.
It still could happen. That decision will be made very soon once the season is completed.
But MEMPHIS won tonight. Take a break, let fans enjoy it without the constant attacks. You can resume the assault tomorrow. You never know, maybe the Bearcats will win Sunday and make your day.

After calling for the base to savor the win you end it by casting the first stone?
You of all people should know better than that.

You are the bitter anti Pastner posters I was referring to earlier; second thread you've blamed JP for incompent refs. Are you ever happy?

This bitter fans are a drag. Maybe Cincy destroys us Sunday and Memtiger90 will invite us to a party. He loves when we lose games along with dissing our QB. Don't know what his problem is.

Some people just can't help beating the dead horse after every game! I think if we somehow went on a wild crazy win streak and won the National Championship, they would find fault with it! Smh!
