The only way that team makes it to the sweet 16 is if Lawson moves Pastner to more of an assistant coach role

The Lawson brothers are good basketball players, but please don't put "Sweet Sixteen" pressure on them. They are NOT good enough to make up for Pastner's shortcomings as a coach.
They are nice pieces to a bigger puzzle but neither will be have a Penny like impact to the roster. In time both of the Lawson's could however be quality contributors at the college level at the very least.

It all hinges on Kedren getting back to the All-SEC player he was before he got here. Who knows if we'll ever see that guy again...

As for the Sweet 16...I'm not even gonna touch that one

Ya know what I meant haha! He was a dang good player in a P5 conference. If he can get back to THAT, next year will be totally different, IMO

We need to pick up a transfer or something I dunno what class fisher is in but he seems to be the highest rated guard we have a shot with. I guess he is 2016 with Nick Marshall. We have broddie coming in but a three star freshman prob won't be able to start or contribute heavily I wouldn't think but I guess u never know. We got a great front line next year sad we have no guards to play with them. We could be really big next year Kedren and Markel are both good size guards. KJ, Dedric, Shaq and Austin all have good size and King as well if he stays. I don't think King plays over KJ though. Our front line is our strength just need a capable guard to run the show. I don't know if there is one out there though. Kedren is average if he would just be more consistent.

I'd start Burrell at the 2 and have Crawford as my 6th man who can back up both guard spots. That is how he has been used the last 2 games and it has kept us from having to play Cunningham. I believe Pookie will be gone and I would rather Crawford get the backup pg minutes at least at the start of the season so Broddie can be brought along slowly.

Crawford has earned the right to start but I think he is more valuable as a 6th man who can be a combo guard.
