Three hundred and seventeen Cajuns fans traveled 450 plus miles to UTSA which is more than ULM brought to Cajun Field in football in 2013.

I'd be more inclined to think they were maybe from the Houston area which has the second largest Cajun alumni association. I do know a number of folks from our tailgating group from Lafayette (about 20) that went for the weekend but I couldn't guess where the others originated. I guess you could say the same for any traveling group to any sporting event though.

GS is averaging 1214 through 4 games, but have another 3 game series this weekend with nice weather for Sat/Sun. Hopefully, this will result in better attendance.

RE: Baseball attendance
The Cajuns Sunday game against Stony Brook has been moved up to Saturday for a double header due to expected weather issues. The double header will start at 2pm just like the originally scheduled Saturday game. Unless the weather is horrid, I'd expect about 3200 per game for the opening series.

Well the high today in Statesboro is supposed to be 36 with tonight's low at 18. I hope we get a big warmup by Saturday/Sunday.

Amos, I had trouble finding three seats together at the Tigue when I went to the ticket office today. That 3200 number may be low if the weather cooperates.

RE: Baseball attendance
If my calculations are correct, here are the latest averages for the Sun Belt. For double-header games, attendance was mostly only reported in the second game. I took that attendance and used it for both games.
2,765 - Louisiana Lafayette
1,597 - South Alabama
1,462 - Texas State
1,193 - Troy
1,185 - Louisiana Monroe
1,135 - Georgia Southern
626 - Arkansas State
552 - Texas Arlington
301 - Arkansas Little Rock
250 - Georgia State
No home games played - Appalachian State
Conference average: 1,107
Hopefully as the weather warms up our averages can increase.

Yet another reason the Turner Field deal will be amazing for us if it comes through. Not that we could get much worse, but there's no doubt our baseball attendance will improve.

We got screwed by this take the 2nd game twice crap.. We had about 3500 for game 1... Not everyone can spend 6-7 hours at the ball park... Especially for an unplanned double header

Per the NCAA: "For double-headers, use one attendance figure (the higher of the two games) and count it as one date or session." It looks like Louisiana Lafayette only reported one attendance, so I would imagine they would have reported the higher of the two, per NCAA guideline.
If we removed that one game attendance your season average only changes from 2765 to 2775.

There is a huge chance we screwed it up but as someone who was able to be there all day, the first game was a good crowd and the 2nd we lost a few. We were required to use our Saturday ticket for both games and to scan in, scan out then scan back in so it's highy probable they jacked something up somewhere.

TXST vs Houston - 1316. Not bad for us for a moved game. Honestly, though, we get good weekday crowds for other TX teams. Fans are very familiar with them and want to see us take them on, routinely.

Hoping the weather improves for the UGA series this weekend. I think our attendance should improve if the weathers nice.

They weren't taking Sunday game tickets, it was only the Saturday game tickets. All people who came in to the first game counted towards attendance. I'm assuming if more came later, they counted as well. As mentioned, a double header only counts once on attendance. Also, no chance we had 3500 for first Saturday game. We had 3300 on Friday and it was much more full than Saturday
