The Chanticleers are the latest to pick up this ever so invigorating trend.

Depending on how blue it goes in the teal shade it could look just like grass.

Not in favor, but at least it's sorta-kinda, almost-like the color green.

I bet it would look different on the ground level and after a good, hot summer.

I wonder if a big time program will ever go with a non green field.

You mean like Boise State? Anyways, I think I know what you mean but technically its already been at a big time program.

Frankly I'm surprised that they didn't try a publicity stunt like this sooner.

Central Arkansas has a purple and grey pattern.

Teal doesnt seem near as bothersome to your eyes as boise blue, or e wash red.

No Boise is a G5 program I was thinking P5.
They also went to the blue field before their incredible run .

I would think Boise would be better off going back to green.

According to the BSU board only Boise can have a blue field they trademarked it.
So is teal green or blue its blue/green ?
Defend the blue sounds better than defend the teal .
Coastal does have some good branding even with a strange teal rooster as a mascot. They were USC-Coastal so the Chanticleer kinda honors the past.

Coastal has a really nice new baseball and softball stadiums opening this spring.
The athletic complex is now the T.D. sports complex.
The football coach is the former CEO and chairman of T.D. Ameritrade .

Here is a list Wikipedia has on schools with non-green fields. BSU uniqueness is falling away and becoming more grouped with FCS and lower division schools rather than being group with FBS schools.
