RE: Football 2015 Predictions
KSU with a surprising big signing today: Juantez McRae, a safety from Maryland was one of 10 recruits visiting today. Had offers from GT, Tenn,. Ore. St, Wisc., and Illinois. I think he knew someone on the team which obviously helped.

Should be interesting. Yes, a brutal schedule but Western has the horses (I can't believe I said that...).

I agree. They have a boatload of talent.

Kudos for getting Michigan State to come play in your stadium, hope you guys can pull off the upset.

Judging by how smitten the media is with PJ, they'll pick WMU without considering that they have to play at NIU and at Toledo.

damn. damn. damn. That's two Athens seniors with dads that are coaches at Ohio who have committed to B1G schools instead. Brutal.

Happened to the Huskies a year ago. LB Ben Niemann (Sycamore H.S.), son of NIU Defensive Coordinator Jay Niemann, had verballed to NIU. Last spring, he changed his commitment and signed with Iowa. That one really hurt.

RE: Football 2015 Predictions
Home games:
VMI (w)
Unknown OOC
Central (w)
UMASS (w)
BG (w)
Toledo (l)

Away games:
Texas A & M (l)
Northwestern (l)
NIU (l)
Eastern (w)
Ohio (w)
Western (l)

Notes:
We open up Texas A&M's new stadium so that will be...fun
Northwestern could be interesting
Ball State has 18 returning starters, 2nd only to UMASS

Cards usually don't go undefeated at home so I gave them an L to Toledo. That could be a win because the Cardinals usually play them well.
I have the Cards at 6-5.

***Edit: Word on the street is that our unknown OOC opponent is Albany. That would give BSU 2 FCS opponents so that's all very exciting.

RE: Football 2015 Predictions
Since none of my KSU brothers in misery have weighed in on this so far, guess I better do it.

KSU has had 2 winning seasons since 1987. This makes it pretty easy to predict a sub 500 year for 2015 no matter which recruits we have coming in. I'll predict 4-8 (possibly 5-7) along with some unimaginable bad luck.

Ohio also managed to flip a 3 star recruit this weekend, good news for Ohio, bad news for Eastern Michigan where he had previously committed to the Eagles. Unfortunate that it was a cannibalized MAC recruit but we'll take what we can get at this point.

EDIT: and no sooner do I type that do I see Ohio has lost another 2015 verbal commit, this time to Temple. Good times.
