Islamist terrorists storm Paris kosher deli, hold hostages, as 2 massacre suspects with hostage cornered north of city

The muslim terrorist that murdered the woman policeman in Paris yesterday is holding hostages in a Kosher deli and says he will kill the hostages if the police rush the two muslims that killed the 12 at Charlie Hebdo. I wonder if Obama will call them Islamist terrorists now?

The three muslims have been killed by French special forces and the hostages have been freed. Great job. Now bury those three in pig fat and televise that fact. Now will Obama face reality and call this Islamist terrorism.

Seems the French know how to free Hostages in a short amount of time. They don't mind "Taking out the Trash".

Does it make a difference in the actions needed, if they were politically or religiously motivated or just plain criminals?

Reports coming out now, 2 police wounded and some hostages possibly killed. Still a confusing situation. Hope for the best.

So, you have a hostage situation. Do you not go in there and gun them down to free the hostages if they're plain criminals vs. terrorists?

Yes. Your typical non killing Bank Robbers would probably had a 48 hour standoff and been taken to jail. These Guys Murdered Innocent people and 3 Police officers and wanted to be Martyrs to be with Their 72 each Virgin Boys.

Internationally trained terrorists in Al Queda training camps pose a much different threat than plain criminals in a hostage situation.

Yeah the "Plain" changed the whole dynamics of the question. Race or Religion shouldn't matter but if someone killed someone and were eminently endangering other hostages then yes immediately go after the targets.

They were trained killers. No different than the Islamic Terrorists at the 1972 Munich Olympics where They killed all of the Hostages. This is how They roll.

They know where the training camps in Yemen and other locations are. You go take them out. You turn the heat up and actively search out the leaders and take them out. No, it's more like trying to kill all the ants infesting your house. If the ants stay in the backyard, you leave them alone. You set traps, etc. and kill the ones entering your house.

Oh, and by the way - I'm not saying go to your neighbors house and kill ants in his house, let him do his own ant killing.

Not saying that but there's a cost to it all. And defense spending is already a large proportion of our budget. We can't sit here and complain about a half million being spent on a social program if there are hundreds of billions being spent without close scrutiny.
