Bahamas Bowl: Crazy Ending
Central Michigan is down 49-14 midway through the 3rd quarter. They come all the way back to cut it to 7, and get the ball back at their own 25 with 1 second left.

They somehow convert a Hail Mary complete with 4 laterals for a TD, and then go for 2 and try to win, but throw an incomplete pass

WKU wins 49-48.

I was actually pulling for WKU to win though if they'd lost it'd have been a hoot making fun of them for an epic collapse.

Not only an incomplete pass, but a stupid ass fade pass.

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of the fade at all...this game is a perfect example of never letting your foot off of the gas!

The fade isn't even a real play, it's like a 2 yard Hail Mary, there was no misdirection or anything just close your eyes and hope. We throw the fade a good bit but it's to a 6'6 wideout. At least have a distinct size advantage.

Wait... If they were able to score 34 points in basically 25 minutes... Why the hell wouldn't the coach kick the FG and play in OT? Seems like the offense would have been able to win there.

I know hindsight is 20/20, but there I think you gotta play for OT.

I mean the defense was so shocked and not ready for the two point play. OT would have given them time to calm down and write up a strategy.

Just me talking, but if they scored 35 points in that short of time, my concern wouldn't be with the defense.

I can see the rationale, I just absolutely disagree with it.

Damnit, I quit watching in the first half.

Is soccer the game there. If so and there were any locals that should have blown their minds.

Soccer is the National Sport. There were about 500 people at the game judging by the crowd shots.

I'd say there were a couple thousand at the game, but after the way that one went down I wouldn't be surprised to see a massive increase in locals for the next one. Excitement levels were through the roof.

I was fine with the move to go for 2, but the play call was absolutely stupid
