Wow...RJ Hunter makes a stupid mistake and tries to save a ball inbounds under his own basket, and hands ODU a free look at the basket with .4 seconds left and Washington had to foul.

Amazingly, the ODU Player promptly missed both free throws. We're going to overtime.

GSU got pretty lucky there though because Hunter fouled Freeman, but they didn't call it--instead calling a foul on the later shot on a terrible FT shooter.

Bobcats lose by 6 at SFA . . . 17-0 run by the Jacks in the 2nd half killed us. SFA crowd gave Kaspar a standing O at the end of the game . . . . Classy on their part . . .

Very entertaining game. GSU and ODU will both be tough for anyone they face in the tournament.

I remember many years ago when the Ragin Cajuns were in the midst of a fine string of good seasons with 1st round pick Kevin Brooks and company and Dr. Ben Jobe brought the Southern Jaguars into the Cajundome. They had a point guard named Avery Johnson no one really knew about at the time...... ran the Cajuns out of the Dome that night.....it happens.

congrats to stAte on a good win over SEC team on the road, the conference really needs more good wins....04-cheers

I watched the first half of the GSU vs ODU game, and GSU didn't look like a good team( full disclosure, I have a high standard of good teams like GSU and Louisiana, which both do not look like good teams yet) They played one-on-one, your turn-my turn to shoot offence, with one pass and a shot goes up, and didn't rebound very well. when they are making those gunner shots, they will beat a lot of teams. BUT.....against solid defensive teams with offensive weapons of their own, they might struggle.

Question GSU fans, was this half of a game just a fluke performance, or is this really how your team makeup is?

Kinda up and down season we have a better record but it's anybodys guess. I think the road games then the long layoff showed last night. Rebounding is always an issue the last couple years. GSU didn't play great by any stretch as well as odu but they was aggressive and crashed the boards and made second chance shots. They deserved to win. I think the rebounding is what keeps the team from being truly great.

UNChyphenCharlotte wins 75-65. Not enough bodies, but our coach is miles better than theirs. Just too much of a talent differential.
