Ordinarily, I'd say that a year end trip to Legion Field for a Bowl Game would suck. Today it might be just what the doctor ordered.

Imagine 50,000 pissed off UAB fans chanting "Fire Ray Watts!" on television. The team would feel the love like never before. We could demonstrate that there is support for our Blazers.

Bowls like butts in seats. Think we could sell a few tickets? They won't be able to gripe about the cost of taking a Bowl bid.

It all works. Hammer the bowl committee full force.

to you, Watts. You sold us out.

Could we start a Facebook pledge page?

Fans pledge to be at the Birmingham Bowl if UAB is in.

That could swell up big time fast to show volume of ticket buys.

What y'all think?

Play up the emotion of our guys not knowing that the last game they played was the last game they would suit up for the green and gold.

I agree 100%. I'll help as best that I can. I can provide knock out graphics to make it appealing and professional. I'm game to help if others on here think it's a good idea and can help.

Ray watts is just the puppet for the BOT!! We need to focus the media's attention on the BOT, Ray Watts is just the capegoat people. Yes we need him gone but someone else just like him would be appointed to take his place!! The real battle is with the BOT not Watts.

We need bumper stickers and signs directed at the BOT

Again Watts is just the scapegoat, but none the less he needs to GTFO.

Holy crap, I hadn't even thought of that!! That would indeed be epic!!

And Memphis is in AAC so that half might actually happen, but the other half is an SEC team. Would one of Alabama's fiercest rivals turn down a bowl bid and stay home to allow UAB the chance for more home game??

I love it, but I'm not sure it is possible unless the SEC could make a deal to move to another bowl like the Armed Forces Bowl to make room for UAB.
