I agree....it is stupid that the same handful of posters have started a page full of threads pretty well saying the same stuff.

RE: Tigers, Pastner, and this board
I agree we should cut the Pastner disappointment threads by about 90%, because it clutters the whole board and makes it more difficult to search for the football threads. Those Pastner threads should each run about 50-100 pages though.

I think *most* people would be absolutely thrilled if this team turns it around and wins 22-25 games......... I know I would be. Winning is fun.

Agreed.
If they used that kind of energy doing something productive, like say, supporting our coach and team...

The Josh honeymoon is finished. The support for the players, conversely, will never end.

So you combat it by starting another pointless thread. Keen thinking.

Well, from the looks of the number of fans in the stands, it would appear that support for the players is waining. People need to be there to support the players even if you they dont support the coach. And, that fan support would increase the liklihood of the season turning positive. The players need he energy from the fans to help pull out the close games..

What's been said by some around here can't be unsaid even if the team were to win the national championship this year. Having called players 'garbage' and making it seemly personal with the coach can't be undone

We need to show more support to fuente and what he means for the university.
Focus on the positive.

I'm not in 100% agreement with this, but there is a very good point here.
I've zero beef with those that have been critical, even heavily so, of the current team's performance and coaching, but I've always been one that counsels some perspective.
Criticism is only as well received as it is phrased. It's always: "It's not what you say, but how you say it".
I really hope the team turns it around and wins big this year and wish all our tigers a great 2015...
