G5 has to be a champion, ECU has almost no chance of that. It will be Boise, Co State, or Marshall. It will not go past those 3.

For a AAC champ to get it, Marshall would have to lose, and Boise lose the MWC champ game. Then one of Cincy, Memphis, and UCF could get it.

In what world is ECU above Cincy - a team they lost to - because they beat 2 ACC fringe bowl teams?

Unfortunately, UCF is the same IMO. I've seen nothing that points to a great team. Certainly no better than the other three at the top. Each could beat each other. Cincy beat ECU but it was pretty evident the two teams are mirrors of each other. Memphis is the closest thing this conference has to the great team...better than the rest of the conference but still not that "great" team we all hope we'd be if we got into the Access bowl. I'd prefer the AAC got it for selfish reasons and would pray, pray, pray we were competitive so the negative press wouldn't be any worse than it currently is.

You are proving, in that one particular situation, the point that P5 teams are treated differently than G5 teams. You are not proving his statement incorrect though.

What the hell are you talking about man? You do know the talking heads were ready to move TCU down several spots after that near fatal loss to Kansas. The committee said otherwise. My point is UAB isn't a mediocre team like many of you would like for them to be. Granted they are 5-6 now but outside of the Arkansas beatdown has played well all season.

CSU has 4 one possession wins this year, plus a loss. One of those was against a 3-8 SJSU team that out gained them by 90 yards. CSU is 79th in total D and is equally bad against the pass and run, 80th and 85th.

Unfortunately, there are no real good G5 candidates for the Access bowl...at least none the G5 could get behind and feel confident that team would take it to the cartel. It is exactly what the P5 needs to prove its point.

Actually biggie, I didn't even know the results until after and didn't even know Marshall played today. I had a very busy day. I checked the site saw the news.
