They should be above Marshall.....CSU one loss is to Boise who played Ole Miss well for 3 quarters...They beat Boston College who manhandled USC and tangled well with Jameis State

Boise and CSU have both lost to a G5 team. Marshall has not.

The MWC is the top G5 conference. CSU lost to Boise who will be representing the G5 in the access bowl. Boise lost to AFA which would about run over any C-USA team.
Marshal played no one...NO ONE

Lol. Air Force lost to Wyoming, which means about half of CUSA would have plenty of a chance to beat Air Force.

Air Force got beat by 6-5 San Diego St. and 4-7 Wyoming so I doubt they would scare anyone in CUSA.

Boise lost to this Air Force team and got beat by 3 TDs against the only P5 team they played.

Is Hawaii still a state? Can we kick them out and give them to Australia or China or something and let Puerto Rico in instead?

RE: Boise State #23, Marshall #24 in this week's CFP Poll
Well, I actually feel a little better about the system. It was getting ridiculous that an undefeated G5 team couldn't crack the top 25 this late in the season. Last week the omission had even the reporters that typical dog the G5 every chance they get talking about how the committee was starting to look a little ridiculous with 3 loss teams in the top 25 and still no Marshall. Granted, Marshall's schedule is terrible and they have not beaten anyone. But by the same token---nobody has beaten them. It's always a little special to be this deep into a season with no loss. That deserves at least some sort of acknowledgement that they might just be a pretty good team--even if they are unproven against stronger competition.

Its kinda funny that the week they dont win in a laugher and actually come close to losing---that's when the Herd finally gets ranked. Maybe Marshall should have made staying undefeated look harder weeks ago......

This coming from a Hawaii fan. I find it funny that a fan of a team who got a bus bowl by playing nobody is now against a team who is undefeated like they were.

I don't get it. You whine asking why P5 wins are better than MAC wins. Then you make a deal out of a G5 loss

Its simple how can the best g5 team be a team that was beaten by a g5 team. Boise didnt beat anyone in the p5 and they lost to air force. So I honestly from any stand point see them being the best g5.

CSU is a different situation. I could see them beat in us out for a slot due to only having one loss, yet beating 2 p5. (Situation that ecu was in)

I would enjoy a bowl game against a good team in the Heart of Dallas Bowl. What Bowl is Hawaii projected to be in?

Drama. The Committee wants everyone talking about them, and the Boise State-Marshall shuffle accomplished that. That's all.

Still two weeks for the Committee to keep things stirred up.

Yeah, that's wrong too, just everything else you are spouting. Marshall is averaging you best crowd of the year. You've been at 25,000 or under your last 4 home games.

Nope its not science. Thats why its a farce. Only in college football can a team get rewarded for losing to a p5 while not even keeping it close.

You can mock it all you want but it follows their agenda. If they put a Boise state team in there and they beat their opponent in the access bowl they can point to the p5 loss and the g5 loss of why they were never in consideration for anything more.

If marshall goes and beats their opponent in the access bowl then they only have sos to point out of why they waited to rank them. They dont want a undefeated try ram from the g5 in that playoff ever.

They don't get rewarded. People actually get to see what their talent level is. Who knows what Marshall's is. The truth is there probably won't ever be a G5 team good enough to be in the playoff.
