How many G5 teams will be ranked top 25 in the final Coaches/AP poll?
Week 14, before Thanksgiving weekend games:
The way I see it, if any of the following teams win out (including bowl games) there's a decent change they'll end up ranked in one of the polls:
Marshall (11-0)
NIU (9-2)
Boise (9-2) (still plays Utah State)
Colorado State (10-1) (still plays AF)
Utah State (9-3) (still plays Boise)
Air Force (8-3) (still plays CSU)
Memphis (8-3)
Cincinnati (7-3)
Either ECU (7-3) or UCF (7-3) (one of these will have 4 losses because they play each other)
That's a maximum of 9.
And the following teams will probably get some votes if they win out, but they might not get enough to finish up ranked:
Georgia Southern (8-3)
Western Michigan (8-3) (still plays NIU)
BYU (7-4)
Houston (6-4) (still plays Cincinnati)
For fun, list the teams that you think will end up being ranked.

Umm...Memphis plays UConn to go 9-3. If we win, then we are champions. I don't see us losing.
Only losses.........@UCLA, @ Ole Miss, & Houston.

It will be Colorado State in the access bowl if they win out and Boise loses.
Regardless, it is looking to me like CSU, Boise State, and Marshall will remain in the polls.

RE: How many G5 teams will be ranked top 25 in the final Coaches/AP poll?
My guess is that there will be 3 AAC teams with 9 wins heading into the Bowls. I think 2 of them will win their bowl game and finish ranked. CSU and Boise will both have 10 wins even if they lose another game, so I think they're safe (yes I think an 11-3 Boise will probably be ranked). I think odds are that either NIU or Marshall will lose their bowl game, but I'm not sure which.
That's why I guessed 5.

Boise State is #23 and Marshall #24 in this week's CFP top 25.
