Next Saturday is our conference championship game.
Win and were champs. Pray for good weather. Bring a freind. Donate tickets to youth organization. Do everything in your individual power to put people in the stadium. Last time we played for a conference championship, Oldtiger and Jeb were still young, wild, and free. Next weeks game, we show this team how proud we are.

Great points. I would also add to refrain from calling our quarterback "garbage". Wouldn't you agree?

I was hot when I said that. He had made many questionable decisions and "huh?" passes. He played very well yesterday. He will always have trouble with the deep ball but so does Peyton manning. I will try to refrain from name calling from now on haha

Still waiting for someone to point out how bad our 3rd down percentages were yesterday. I haven't poured over our stats to find the Debbie downer stat line..that seems to be one that always makes the cut.

5 for 12. Penalties are killing our drives. I don't believe its so much failing to convert on third down as it is having a third and short turn into a third and eight, or a 15yard completion on third seven get called back and reverts to a third and 17.

We had some trouble making 3rd down stops too. Hopefully adjustments get made prior to the bowl

South florida kept crossing their tight ends in the middle of the field. Secondary kept getting lost on it.

Another thing killing our drives is poor (or is it malicious) spotting of the ball by the side judge. I noticed on several occasions yesterday that he short-spotted us consistently. Not to be one to ascribe to conspiracy theories, I watched for consistency on the other side of the ball. Nope. They were given VERY generous spots all game long, as if they were trying to keep USF in the game. I think I remember one time, maybe on the last drive they had (?), of them going for it on 4th down and falling short at least a half yard. Of course they gave them the first down by a generous spot. On one occasion, they called for a fair catch on a punt return at the 18. The ball was spotted on the 20. Another time we tackled one of their guys with the ball on the 25 and he slid all the way to the 20. I though, "if those idiots give them the 23, I'll be pissed!" They gave them the 20. Effing A.

I will be out of town for the holidays as many others will..its a shame because this staff/players deserve the very best from the fans. The team kept their end of the deal.

I'll be in town though. First chance to go to a game all year (and get away from the family for a bit). Hopefully there are lots of others like that.

It's the style of defense we play. We are very aggressive with our linebackers when the other team has a longer field. When they are in the red zone and our safeties can move up due to the shorter field, those routes are not as open. That is one reason we average just over 13 points allowed per game since the other team is not usually going to win by kicking field goals. Bend don't break can be frustrating to watch which is why I keep my hair short but I cannot argue against the effectiveness of it this year.

Yep.

Even the response to this was laced with excuses.

Easy.

Since it has happened in several, if not most, games this year, I'm on the conspiracy bandwagon. You're not paranoid if they really are out to get you.

I recall the 4th down spot and the fair catch. You have to wonder how the conference office can continue to allow this. I wonder if it is the "old Big East" versus the "outsiders we're forced to associate with now" mentality.

Yep, holidays are a double edged sword. Some can't make it, but some come back. First Tigers game this year (couldn't get the NYC Tigers to Temple this year), so I am pretty amped.

Trying to get the seats and coordinate with my family, we'll have between 5-10 in our group… Ready to rock...

let's band together, Cause I'm joining you guys. The officials screwed up several times. You hit all of them.
