No worries. It's a habit with my students to keep the terminology as accurate as possible. Like you don't get found "innocent" in a criminal trial, or "guilty" in a civil trial, or the difference between "verdict" and "judgement." TV court/lawyer shows do a lot of harm.

Honestly Mach.. No matter the verdict, there will be some type of violence.

I fully believe there are two types of protesters in Ferguson. You have the peaceful ones that are holding vigils and lighting candles, and abiding by the rules set forth.

Then there's this other group, chances are they are from other cities and other states, and they're just looking for a reason to destroy property.

This last group will cause trouble no matter the outcome.

Very likely, as they promised to give Ferguson PD and the National Guard 2 days to prepare for any possible incidents.

Its not just Ferguson either... We've got idiots all over the place riled up and ready to damage lots of stuff once this indictment comes out. Albuquerque, New Mexico, Bwoston, MA, New York City, and several other places have already warned that there will be riots there.

Brown's attorney is holding a press conference right now, asking for peace on both sides.
