That's terrifying to me.
Your recruiting will improve over the upcoming years...because, yes, AAC is a big step up from CUSA...and pretty soon, players you target will know that...plus ESPN EXPOSURE for every conf games, something Tulane hoops NEVER had, will pay off in the future classes as well.
Tulane could be a regional power in basketball - especially since LSU isn't really that good at basketball (Tulane won the last H2H meeting by 7 points, and has beaten both Auburn and tournament-bound UGA in recent memory).
The problem is that the administration isn't cutthroat. The standards for a "good job" are way too low. You can run a clean program and win 20+ games. I'm not even asking them to cheat for titles - just be interesting.
The good news: You won't be able to cover up 40 and 50 point losses on ESPN. Somebody is going to have to pay.

Memphis has the #7 recruiting class with 4* KJ Lawson, 5* Dedric Lawson, and 3/4* Randall Broddie.
Hoping Broddie can fill that space Joe Jackson left. We need a floor leader

LSU has been rather weak in hoops in recent years...but LSU was able to sign the #1 player in the nation (by rivals.com), and that one recruit was good enough to move LSU to #24 Recruiting Class in Nation by rivals.com
See list below for their top 30 (NOTE: Ranking is from the first day of the signing day period, Wed Nov 12th) and doesn't account for some players who signed starting Nov 13 and after. Also, transfers do not count in rivals.com rankings.

Temple still working on a 4*/5* center for either '15 or '16. If we got him for '15, we would have a top 25 class, probably just outside the top 20.

Are you talking about Papagiannis? Does Temple actually have a shot with him? Thought he went to Greece.

Yes. Yes. He did, but he is not getting paid like Sabonis at Gonzaga. Greece isn't working out for him. He's very unhappy there.

Wow, that would be a huge get for Temple and the conference. Any idea who the competition is? I assume he would be a one and done.

I think Maryland is the biggest competition right now. Not sure who else is getting in-homes.

Houston also signed 6-9 F Xavier Dupree from Paris JC. He grew up in Houston. Chose Houston over LSU and Ole Miss.
