The unarmed teen should have left the police officer alone and listened to him. A product of Brown's upbringing, he should have been raised better. You can only fault his guardians or him. Your choice.

And I'm not worried about the rioters (again, I'm only a few miles from the majority of it), but I've got a certain pistol just ready for use if they make their way toward my neighborhood.

You leave personal responsibility, respect for authority, and common sense out of this argument. It has no place here.

I bid you good day sir.

I talked to Mr. Ruger last night myself. He has about 16 hollow headed kids he keeps with him.. Only reason we'd have to take a stroll together is if the wife's workplace becomes a place of focus for these protests.

Fighting hollow headed kids with hollow headed kids, eh?

@ DaSaintFan - I doubt the rioters make it into nicer neighborhoods, but you never know. If one of them get a wild hair up their ass, they'll do something crazy and once that first move happens, they follow suit like stupid little lemmings.

Personally, I think this was all just talk at first, but it's become such a spectrum to stupid people that they want to be a part of it just to say they were a part of the Ferguson riots.

I never have had to fire this weapon at a living creature.. I hope I never have to.. I don't want to see what a .45 hollow point will do to a living creature.. I don't mean to brag, but I'm fairly accurate with it.

Yeah I would hope not as well. I have a .357 revolver with 280 grain armor piercing hollow pernts that'll nearly knock your shoulder out of socket when fired. I'd hate to see what it'd do too, but with those bullets you have to be kind of close for accuracy, especially if you've never shot it and you're aiming down the sight at a small target.

Don't worry, I don't think you're bragging, I have no doubt that you're a dead eye dick. 04-cheers

Give me a break. Kids make mistakes. Are you telling me you never mouthed off at authority or ran fro the cops?

I did and I was stupid for doing it. It had nothing to do with how my parents raised me however. It had everything to do with my being a teenage punk.

Kids make mistakes and this kid paid with his life.

No, I NEVER mouthed off at authorities. I never ran from the cops. I'd mouth off under my breath when they couldn't hear me, but I wasn't stupid. Even when I got pulled over for no reason, and they searched my truck without asking or without a warrant. I still kept my mouth shut because that's how I was taught. And yeah, I was a punk back then too, but I didn't stupid crap. I sure as hell never robbed a store or tried to fight a cop or completely disregard a cop when he told me to do something. I also didn't badmouth teachers or any other adults. That's how I was raised.

That's wonderful. Your mom must be proud. The fact remains however that many of us did stupid stuff when we were kids. That doesn't mean you deserve to be shot and killed.

This incident simply ruined the lives of the teen, the cop, and both families to some extent. It's a tragedy.

RE: Ferguson Protesters Mob Courthouse Where Grand Jury Is Deciding On Charges
I did a lot of stupid, and things that were most certainly illegal, when I was a kid. However, I knew that going after a cop, fighting a cop, or threatening a cop could get me hurt bad or killed.

From what has been released it appears more and more likely that Brown went after the cop. You attack a cop and you stand a chance of getting killed. Brown played that game a lost.

My money is on a no bill.

The protestors are going to be violent. They made up their mind about the guilt of the officer the day this happened in August, and they are too emotionally involved now to back down.

Many are not there to legally protest and only want to stir the masses....they have shipped in the killing and looting thugs mixed in with legit protesters....and you can bet the farm the St.Lue cops are ready for them

You ever assaulted a police officer, commit strong arm robbery, or reach for an officer's weapon?

That's because they are huddled in their shacks keeping the temp at 80 through the use of a Kerosene heater.

Bunch of damn idiots. All of this for a f*cking thug. And you KNOW these suckers are serious if they're out in this cold weather, I don't EVER see blacks walking around in cold weather. Hell, that's the only time it's even safe to drive around some streets in Shreveport.
