Went to Glasscots on Armitage and Halsted for a Boers and Bernstein "Who Needs 2 Tavern Tour" Appearance and stayed through to watch the NIU Ohio MACC!

The last time these two teams met in the regular season was on 11/21/09 in Athens, the Bobcats won 38-31. Since that game NIU is 3-3 vs CMU and 30-0 vs every other MAC team in regular season games. Since losing to NIU in the 2011 MACC game Ohio is 11-11 vs MAC opponents. A win on Tuesday would be a big one.
MY STATE. MY TEAM.

I remember wanting to drive back home at Half-Time. MACC games have been very stressful.03-puke

We were there. Amazing I didn't have my heart attack then instead of a year later!

The first 3 MACC games were all like that. Nerve-wracking is what it was. I remember after Sims' kick went through and everyone was cheering, that the Ohio fans must have felt like we did the year before, and we felt like the Miami fans did the year before.

I am hoping both of our lines play really well tonight. Dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and you dominate the scoreboard. Go Huskies!

i am hoping we get control of the game early and keep it and when that time comes in the game where a 1st down or that extra TD or FG, we stick the dagger in.

I agree. Toledo game should have been over when they didn't make it on 4th down from the 29. 4 runs for 9 yards is not good enough. Grind out first downs and put the ball in the end zone.

After the first half of the Ohio MACC my wife and I concluded that the Huskies were jinxed in Detroit. We never expected the second half come back. It was an incredible game that had to be heart wrenching for OU.

LOL. My buddy disappeared for about 45 minutes at the end of the first half. I was convinced he was walking back to the Marriott. He didn't. Lucky for him.... he saw the comeback.

OH, their seniors have not forgot (according to the Ohio article). They're pumped and are going to attack NIU in their own house like a father chasing a child molester out of his.

If NIU doesn't screw up, they should hold on to win this. IMO, it will come down to NIU's *D*. If they can step up and play adequately, while also having their passing game churn, they should pull out the victory.

Ha Ha, the same thing happened to me. seeds99 left the seats at half time, and I think went to go hang out with some Detroit locals or something outside of the stadium for most of the 2nd half. I decided to go sit in the end zone by myself right under the goal posts. As it looked more like we had a chance, I texted him and told him to come meet me in the end zone for the GW field goal. This was when Ohio I think still had the ball. seeds had his phone off I think for most of the 2nd half, and then turned it on to see my text. He comes down like 30 seconds before the kick and we celebrate together (and are seen arm in arm in red in the replay underneath the goalpost). It was a great memory I'll never forget.
