Its Official: Skal to UK.
Anyone surprised?
I think the Cohen piece in the CA clinched it.

He said the only thing he wanted since his freshman year was to get an offer from Kentucky. I don't think the Cohen article had anything to do with it.

And Cal said UK was his 'dream job'.
Funny how it became his dream job ONLY when the NCAA was going to start sniffing around him.

assuming the NCAA Clearing house allows it.....then that is where he is going. Josh isn't Cal. he isn't going to call the kid like Cal did with that former player that had announced for Washington.
Pastner won't mess with someone else's recruiting class.

Kentucky IS a better job than Memphis, I don't understand the connection.

He had the #1 rated class at Memphis. Memphis at that time was a much better program than UK. He would not have gone to UK if the NCAA had not come around to investigate Memphis.

Skal Labissiere says he didn’t like the media during his recruitment process.

your proof right there.
Memphians/media turn against Hamilton...and so he goes to UK. Maybe he was going there all along....but it sure is fishy.

Kentucky had regressed to a "has been" program before Calipari went there. His leaving had everything to do with the impending investigation.

Dude, this has been official for a long time. Paster was out flanked and out recruited in this deal. Let's move on, still need a few more players for next years class.

WOW... can we blame this on Calkins and others for losing this big time recruit?

Cal would have left for Kentucky had they called two years before when they hired Gillespie. There were no imminent NCAA violations at that time. If you think he wouldn't have left if offered then you are kidding yourself.

Unless Hamilton got paid somehow....his nightmare now begins.
Cal won't allow Hamilton as a handler at UK...and once he loses control of his meal ticket....it won't be pretty.

I dont understand how you can type all that nonsense out and post it without deleting it first. By far the dumbest assertion of the day. Kentucky is one of the top 3 programs OF ALL TIME with much better facilities and fanbase than Memphis. Good Grief
