I'd kick Charlotte to the curb again if I were in that situation. 07-coffee3

Pump the brakes on GS.

They may make it to 10-2 without a single victory over a team with a winning record.

USA 5-4(Texas State, @South Carolina, Navy)
App State 4-5(@stAte, @Cajuns, Idaho)
Texas State 5-4(@USA, stAte, @GSU)

App looks like 5-7. Doubtful that USA and Texas State both get to 7 wins, possible that neither of them do.

Or we could invite ECU back so Marshall could beat on them some more.

Goal is to be considered the top Non AQ program in the country. AD is confident we can hit that in the next 5-7 years provided money continues to come in like it is.

We'll never fix market...but we believe we can become what we need to become as part of the Sun Belt, so its not a major issue.

Thanks for coming over here to tell us all that. Now run along.

May you never forget that we own you guys overall. We one like 6 in a row over you guys before you finally won a couple.

This is my thinking as well. C-USA jumped the gun going to 14 (given the CFP payout maxing out at 12).

South Alabama is a fine school and conference mate but there's really no G5 nor FCS who could move the $$$ needle that much.

Hopefully UAB stays.

CUSA good at 14 with them and 13 without them.

Another thing that comes to mind is that IF (WHICH I DON"T WAN'T) UAB does drop football, that would leave CUSA without an Alabama school as well as the state of Georgia. Granted we haven't had a team in Georgia but that would be odd to be a conference with a footprint in the south/southeast/east and without a team in both of those states

This thread is going crazy over the Sunbelt going crazy.

UAB will not lose football.

Just for fun though, I would choose Real GSU. They bring the all-u-can-eat buffet market. And those fans are brand loyal.

It's only 6 pages if you don't set your posts per page to 100. Then it's less than one page :)

That's just in cases some people didn't know you could do that. I hate flipping through pages on a thread that blows up fast before I got a chance to read it.

A thing we started when MTSU left for CUSA. We're working to make our fans watch all Sun Belt games and not just our teams games.

I don't watch P5 games out of principle anyway, so it wasn't that hard.

Haha... It's good to have grounded expectations of your team, and I guess not watching P5 games will help with that.
