Findlay game
Early in the second half and the Rockets have 20 of their 54 points from both center who have combined for ZERO fouls!

Make that three combined fouls with less than 13 minutes to play.

30 points, 11 boards, three assists and three fouls from two centers. Impressive

When you say centers, I'm assuming Garber and Booth. Any Williams?

RE: Findlay game
For most of the game I thought the Rockets looked very, very good. Very athletic, lots of depth and good defense. It should be pointed out that this isn't one of those great Findlay teams of the past, and their tallest starter was 6-5. Still, nice win for the Rockets.

Williams played and scored some points. Our freshman PG Stuckey Mosely played a lot of minutes yet was held scoreless.

Booth was 8 of 9 from the field and 1 of 1 from three point land---a lot of his 2 pointers were mid-range jump shots----he was deadly accurate today. Also 4 for 4 at the free throw line

Garber was 3 of 4 from the field and 3 of 4 from the free throw line. Garber showed some athleticism today that I never realized he was capable of from watching him last year. I can understand why Coach K said he was the most improved player.

He saw the floor for a few minutes, but never got a shot off.

If Garber can give us that every nite, he could be the X factor for us. Especially if booth gets in foul trouble.

He was doing a nice job hitting 3 pointers during warmups.

This is a relief. I could swear I heard the sports guy on TV report the score as 101-92 or something like that. I thought, man, we must not have any defense! This is more like it.

RE: Findlay game
Findlay is really beat up. 5 guys out until at least january. Two over 6"6. Theyre preseason #8 in DII. But wont be healthy until the off season. Good win though. Pulled off the dogs a few times and let Findlay stay within 13 but the bench hit shots late to seal it down.

He did have one very good assist.

He drew a charge late in the game too was playing stick defense.

Does anyone know why Kurt Hall did not play I thought his 3 point shot looked good in warmups.

Nick P tweeted that TK was asked about that and said that Kurt was late (not sure if he was late for practice, the game, or what), so that was his punishment.

Thanks for the info I just looked at "The Rocket Report" website and it said the same thing that was what I suspected but wanted to be sure.

I "stole" this photo off the Rocket Report site. Hope they don't mind. Love the Jon Jon Williams picture. This kid is going to be great.

#20 is employing textbook "palm-heel to the crotch" defense, the best possible strategy in this situation. Well coached team, Findlay.
