Clark was given a three-year contract, which is unheard of in the Football Bowl Subdivision, and it runs through the 2016 season. Funny way to show your support for the man, who's already on the radar of other schools in search of a head coach, such as Troy.

Man, I feel bad for UAB.

As bad as the BOR can be in GA. I'm sure glad that we are part of the University System of Georgia and not the "University of Georgia System" - even though a bunch of moron dawg fans think that that is its name.

That article says nothing that he is in talks with Troy. You can want him all you want. Doesn't mean he reciprocates. This title is misleading to say the least.

I'm really glad Arkansas State runs its own system. It forces the Razorbacks to go through legislature if they want to do anything about us. Plus whenever we get bored we can bully ASU Beebe into doing what we want... (That's what the system is for right...to bully the smaller schools into helping you?)

Bill Clark is a fairly well known architect in Atlanta, so maybe Troy is building something?

Wouldn't surprise me. Until Clark gets an extension he's fair game. I would leave if I didn't get an extension by the end of the year.

Thats how he left jsu having never been contacted.

His agent will do any nego. Bill maybe headed somewhere other than troy.

He could be. If they get to 6 wins that may very well happen.

If not he better find something. I suspect recruiting just got that much harder at UAB.

If Troy hires Clark it's because the couldn't get the guy they really wanted.


I'm not a Troy fan because of wins and losses.

Best case scenario for Troy is that you get Bill Clark more money at UAB.

Worst case scenario for UAB is that he takes us to a bowl game in year 1 and someone like Kansas State comes calling.

If he coaches for Troy in the next 5 years I'll personally meet up with any of you and eat a shoe and a crow for desert.
