RE: Phil Steele Bowl Predictions
Take this with a grain of salt. Matter of fact, take all these predictions with a grain of salt because:

1. UAB still has to win another game.
2. Phil Steele has no idea what Bano is going to do in regards to making deals with our bowl tie-ins partners.

RE: Phil Steele Bowl Predictions
While I would love a trip to New Mexico, that bowl bid is going to a C-USA West team. I'm usually a big fan of Phil Steele, but his bowl predictions haven't made sense all year. Swapping UAB and Rice makes his picks far more likely to occur.

If we do go to a bowl game, I will be shocked if it isn't Boca or Hawaii. I'm really hoping for Boca for accessiblity reasons.

Co-sign. Do we rush the field if we beat LA Tech?

Had been wondering how that would work. I'm too fat to climb the fence and how would it look just having 15,000 ppl in attendance in a 75000 seat stadium. Literally, everyone would be on the field.

Nope beat em, shake their hands, and head toward the band. We rush the field when we beat Marshall, heck I would only rush the field against 2.0 teams. We have to get butts in the seat for Marshall dont care if its ymca groups or churches or pee wee to high school football teams out of the playoffs.

Fans have been through a lot. It's probably acceptable to rush the field if we win.

Agreed. I was too young to realize what was going on the last time we reached bowl eligiblilty.

Not going to happen. UAB has never beat Tech in Football. Should be a hell of a game but Tech wins on a turnover late 27-20.

RE: Phil Steele Bowl Predictions
I always liked the Fabulous Sports Babe's Show.
She would have Alabama fans calling in making predictions.
She would respond by saying that she didn't recall asking for their predictions.

We may win, we may lose. Either way previous years will have nothing to do with it.

RE: Phil Steele Bowl Predictions
The bigger question:
Are there any bowl projections that has us MISSING bowl season? It's certainly possible that we go 0-3, and very possible we go 1-2. Has anyone figured out a way for us to go 6-6 and NOT make a bowl?

RE: Phil Steele Bowl Predictions
Yep. Wait until a certain bowl watch post by a certain poster is made I'm assuming next Monday.

Good news right now is that even if we were the last team in the league in bowl pecking order there may be a few slots available from other leagues including our sister school's league.
