I haven't conceded our home game with them just yet. Hopefully the team hasn't either.

GO BLAZERS! then CUSA.

They still likely have to play a surprising Tech team in the title game. And with another Boise loss Colorado State is sitting pretty.

RE: NBR - And down goes ECU
Statistically, this was a fascinating game. On paper ECU dominated this game except in three areas - score, penalties, and turnovers.

1st downs: ECU 30 - Temple 10
Total yards: ECU 428 - Temple 135

How in the world do you beat the #23rd ranked team when you only get 10 first downs and 135 yards?

Well, ECU had 12 penalties for 116 yards. Temple had 7 penalties for 65 yards.

In the turnover category, ECU lost FIVE FUMBLES. Temple had ZERO turnovers.

RE: NBR - And down goes ECU
I think this game is very Blazer Related. It is still very possible that C-USA has 6 Bowl eligible teams at least and only 5 guaranteed slots. Should Marshall get the G5 slot, then a 6-6 UAB can breath a little easier. (not saying we are going 6-6, just an observation)

I will love to win the game and I will cheer for my blazer but we will be a heavy underdog and we will need to play perfectly to win
But for Conference USA , Marshall need to go undefeated

Interesting to think that if UAB goes 6-6 with a win over Marshall we could cost ourselves a bowl game.

So, beat the Herd, Tech, and the Chickens and go 8-4.

Take all the drama right out of it.

RE: NBR - And down goes ECU
Going undefeated is Marshall's problem, not ours. Our problem is getting as close to 8-4 as possible. If Marshall gets in our way, that could be a problem for both, and we will worry about it when it matters..
