RE: Game Day: CMU
EMU is awful. Michael Reghi is awful. My favorite cliche': "EMU is a young team."

We are NOT young. Veteran OL, grad QB, upper class RB and receivers, etc. etc. Defense has a lot of experience, except Harris and Beck.

UMass and WMU are young teams. We are not...

Wow. This team...Also, this just in, Tyler Allen is FAST but he cannot play a lick. Bronson Hill is being utilized perfectly! Go Creighton!

Gibson drops a ball between the '8' and the '3'. Ugh.

Man, this ineptitude just goes on and on and on. I don't know why I bother. Seriously, it makes no sense to follow this athletic program.

RE: Game Day: CMU
Such a disappointing effort a week after looking like a competent football team. Especially defensively. It took NIU until the 4th quarter to wear us down last week. It took CMU like 5 minutes. Disheartening, to say the least.

'79 nailed it with his comment about inconsistency, i.e., consistently inconsistent.

Good vs. UB; so-so vs. UMass; Good vs. NIU; terrible vs. CMU.

13 days?

Ferris State is playing at Oakland on ESPN3.

Good game. I assume it is an exhibition game.

And a constant source of frustration, Creighton needs to have these guys prepared to play EACH game. They have failed to do that consistently. Winners come to play, losers can stay home and not take the field. Better get some WRs who can catch the ball and DBs who can defend for next year.

Agreed. It looks like half of them don't want to be out there.

Don't want to be out there? Biggest rival? WTF? Imagine if Rawls was playing.

It wouldn't be much different. Their running backs have been fantastic, as has their O-line.

Creighton, we get it, you're a hardass, but can you please take Brumfield out? He's not very good, probably a nice guy though.

Embarrassing. And, frankly, I am getting pretty damned sick of being embarrassed.

We have 3 games left, so at most 3.

Hurt on the first drive. Supposedly a head injury. Seemed fine on the sidelines in the first half. No clue if there have been any updates. Turned it off at the end of the 2nd quarter.

Well, that sucked. 5 hours in the cold for nothing.

If anyone needs me, I'll be sulking alone until basketball season.
