People are still laughing at you two idiots. Siamese Twins no doubt, but without any intelligence. You guys really think I work for USM. Priceless.

I've also suggested that you sell farm equipment. Your coworkers are probably all State fans, and they don't like you, so you pull for USM.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh...the Ellis Johnson jock lover is back. Still laughing at you thinking the Reverse pass in the monsoon against Louisville was a great play. Hilarious.

who's **** was in your mouth that night?

He only speaks when Tech has a home game and he can talk attendance smack. USM crowd didn't look impressive to me. Was a number reported? I'm thinking 14 to 15K?

Yes. The official "reported" attendance today was 23,343. But I'm guessing 4K (?) we're LA Tech fans.

I never said "great" or even "good". I will say that it was a better call than your suggestion, i.e. to have Arsenio Favor (or whoever the hell was playing QB) drop back and do a Dan Marino impersonation against Louisville in the driving rain. That's what you (in some godforsaken parallel universe where you're a USM football coach) would have called. You would have called a traditional pass play even though you know that had 0% chance, because you're too afraid to do anything that's not by - the - book. Then, the players would have ignored you and run something else.

This is about what I would guess.

Tech was lucky to get away with the win, USM definitely helped the cause. Really impressed with the defensive effort, they really came ready to play. Our offensive line looked pitiful most of the day

The visitor section holds about 1,000 and it was a bit over half full. If those in adjoining section moved over into the group looks like maybe 8-900 total. I am sure you saw that as camera scanned the stadium or else the view for one sitting in West side of stadium. We must say though that would not include a few Tech fans scattered elsewhere who did not buy the visitor section tickets.

Any guess on butts in the seats? Looked less than half full to me. 14 to 15K?

I would venture to guess about 18k.

Pitiful.

Your team will turn the corner next year and be in the mix for the West. I was really impressed with your D and overall effort in the 1st half 01-ncaabbs

Its hard, almost an impossibility, to give an estimate. The Rock, unlike the stadium in Dogpatch, has 35 suites in the south end zone, club seats on the sides, and a club suite in the North end zone athletic facility, ALL enclosed behind glass therefore unable to determine or estimate how many fans are there however they are usually full as these are secured by the heavy hitters. There is, in addition, the standing room area and canopy area atop the South end zone facility and common lounge area below the suites. Estimating a Tech crowd is simple, all seats except your one "Skybox" is visible and comparing empties to full seats is easy having photos or camera scans along with seating capacities of your sections.

If I were to make a "wild" guess without any documentation other than knowledge of the set up and pre game crowd in tailgating areas it was around 22,000 or so. I also base that on just moving everyone from top decks to lower levels and emptying out all the suites, lounges, and club seats into lower levels which should basically fill them up. That would leave 14,000 vacant and with 36,000 capacity your are looking at the 22 figure.

I agree, it did not look good on tv. Tech is lucky to have avoided any suites in your new facility otherwise fans would congregate there leaving your outside seats even more empty.

Our Sky Box seats 78 bazillion people...you just can't count them because they are behind the glass.

are you sure with your count, johnnylightnin? per our friend EE - there should be at least 5-8k people in there to make his 22k estimate.

I know this doesn't need to be posted, but this EE asswipe has nothing to do with USM and if by chance he does, he is officially not claimed. As for yesterday's crowd, it was very disappointing, but not unexpected. I would estimate butts in the seats at 16 thousand.
