If this happened, he'd be gone and snatched up in year 3, year 4 at the latest. DB will get his wish.

News flash. It's not really his wish. It's his fallback position.

DB wanted him gone because he was a 100% sure he'd be a coaching disaster.

You're right. God, he's even nearly brainwashed me to believe that. 03-banghead

He's gone into every game, with the exception of VT, saying, we should be able to beat these guys. He says that so he can play both sides.

If he's right, he looks brilliant, and if he's wrong he can hang it on Fleck as being incompetent.

My quote I believe and we are not running anywhere near the system we ran last year. Not even close. The OC has done a nice job so far. Still think we have more left in the tank.

Hey I wasn't going to call you out on that... but you're right. It's not as "pro-style" as we were led to believe it might be last season.

Its not even a little bit of a pro offense.

Lie. I predicted wins when I thought we would get them. I said Purdue was winnable. Is that a "fallback position"? I think not.

You're livid because you had your script ready and I snookered you.

You're the one with the players lined up to blame every game, in case we lose. THAT is what I would call a fall back position. That EYOR routine of yours wears thin as well, Carnac.

You two are something else. Since WMU has been winning (and not coincidentally, since he was banned) DB has been positive about the team/staff and giving credit where it is due. Yet you guys still work to make him out to be the bad guy.

Go figure.

Dip will undermine anyone who he feels threatens his web board kingdom. Been his MO for years.

The other "not so coincidentally" piece being overlooked is a certain poster got a hiatus as well, and the mod has been active warning the usual suspects so they can't start their schtick when they feel their lofty web position threatened.

Now they have to behave, and as a result, I have no problem having decent conversations with those of who want to do so.

Not crying, just trying to keep Every.Single.Thread from devolving into a pissing match. DB, to his credit, doesn't engage anymore.

Are you kidding me, that's all he does do. He hasn't changed a bit since his banning. Not one bit.

He said several weeks ago he put me on "ignore" but I've noticed through other responses that he's been nonstop trying to bait me and others into arguments.

Take your blinders off. It's about time you hold your "bud" to the same standards as you do others here.

RE: Looking back...
I've met DB several times. Like many, myself included, your internet persona is not your real life persona.

If I were a fly on your cranium I believe you are hoping for a win each and every week just like the rest of us, and if Fleck has success you'd be hoping we could keep him. I totally believe you disliked what was happening after BC was fired, and I believe you disagreed with Fleck's hiring.

I think deep down you don't have a problem with Fleck NOW. I think you've had a change of heart, but like playing the word games so you keep it going.

This two year I hate Fleck thing is just internet entertainment for you. Bugs me at times, but I never take stuff you say personally because I know you to be a good and reasonable person

It's funny... I've heard stories about the real DB at various WMU sporting events from long-time respected posters on this board. Even the ones here who know him don't understand why he's become so staunchly invested in his current position (web board character or not).

Hey, some people get their entertainment off twitter or Facebook. He gets his here. I do to for that matter.

I'm not a Liam guy on politics, but I like him on sports. It's just how these places work. I and Probably you wouldn't be much alike in the real world, but here I like your take on sports, and respect what you did when you took over on Rivals.

I once sat at a table with Acer and saw him get blue in the face arguing with one of his buddies (guy was a teacher in Rockford....used to post here, forget his name) about politics. I'm sure they are still good friends, although I'm pretty sure the guy hated me for my dislike of Ron Stewart......I digress.

Anyway, while we all get caught up in this, in the final analysis it's just a message board for sports........unless you out people by name for banging coeds.......I digress again.

Anyway, I'm sure you get the idea.

Dude, I dont "tweet" but I have account still from what they tell me, and facebook is done completely.

However, there has never been a coed in any discussion. Not one of mine for sure.

I'm not saying that was you who named the coed. As I said a couple days ago I think you and I both know who put that up, but no, I don't think you did.

I'm just saying, entertainment is one thing, but slandering an innocent party by name, that kind of stuff is crossing the line.

RE: Looking back...
I like talking WMU sports way more than I like talking about coaches and their personalities. This place is fun when we win but gets confrontational and down right hostile when we are losing. Thats how most fan bases are I guess. More than anything I don't think it should get personal either with other posters or with our players and coaches. I think naming posters by name and where they work should be off limits and no matter what you think about our coaches and players I'm not ok with their personal lives being on here where nothing can be verified and no one is able to defend themselves. Those are my hot button issues. I could care less about anyones shtick beyond that. It doesn't bother me that some people don't like the staff and never will. They don't get to experience the full joy of this turnaround if they are caught up with that. I'm just going to love every minute of watching this team.

Its not surprising that a few wins makes this place way more civil though. Lets try and let everyone here just enjoy good bronco football at their own level. Some people are X's and O's minded, some people are rah rah, some are into their predictions. Its not worth a perpetual argument IMO.
