Great game TxSt. I still believe you are one of the best teams in the Sunbelt. Y'all just hit us at the wrong time. We just happen to turn a corner this week.

We, the Cajuns, definitely will need Jamal Robinson back for the Ark St. game. I hope his injury isn't too bad. We need his threat in the passing game, he's a beast!

Really unsure what to make of Texas State. They looked slow today... That'll get them slaughtered by the speed teams in the Belt (GS, USA, AState) They'll have to improve significantly if they want to make a bowl game.

They have wins against Tulsa, Idaho and UAPB ..Strenght of schedule 128th.

Literally never seen something so disgraceful. The play calling was incomprehensible. People in the stands were literally booing at Fran and calling him out on the nonsense that was play calls and decisions.

Not sure what to make of TXST now. That was the one game left on the conference slate that had me worried

I think Fran is running a smash mouth offense that is tough for G5 schools to recruit the kids to run. The hardest thing to recruit is the big lineman needed to run it---they all go to Big-12 schools. With nearly every Texas HS running the spread---Texas State needs to run the spread. Texas St can recruit plenty of talent to run that even AFTER the Big-12 schools fill their recruiting classes. If the Bobcats can continue to recruit good defensive talent and move to a more explosive offense that really fits the talent pool they recruit from---they would be much better off I think.

On a side note, I was thoroughly offended by the ESPN remark calling ULL the "Class of the League"

You can get big linemen, or you can get speedy and agile linemen, but you can't generally get big, speedy, and agile linemen because they go to the SEC.

Much like Georgia State fans confusion about our "tiny" defensive line...yes theirs were bigger, but ours prevailed.

Had the same thought. I'm not claiming we are (haven't been here long enough for that) but I did think stAte has a valid argument.

And Fran cost us a W vs Illinois. Our AD sucks at scheduling, too. Really need to clean house.

3 NO Bowl invites, having wins over SDSU,ECU, and Tulane, and also having over 45,000 in attendance for each of the games.

We won the Sunbelt in Basketball, and the only Sunbelt team to go the Big Dance in Basketball.

Only team in the Sunbelt to host a Regional and Super Regional in Baseball, and also was ranked #1 in the nation in Baseball.

The only team to host a regional, and Super Regional, and went to the WCWS in softball in the last year.

What has A-State done in the past year??
