Yeah and neither Troy nor Texas State has enough "good players" to keep their coaches from looking like morons.
Yes, we do. Fran is just a moron.
If we did a head football coach moron to moron thread, bet our moron would win.

You know...

I always wondered why more coaches don't.
Not have a dartboard, but randomize plays, at least on 1st and 2nd downs.

Coaches go to great lengths to avoid 'tendencies' then call plays emotionally, thinking their knowledge will add value.

Dump that - figure out what plays you run effectively, figure out the ratio of plays you want to run ( runs which setup passes, etc. )

Then randomize to meet those percentages.

Your opponent doesn't know what you're going to do if YOU don't know what you're going to do until the computer tells you.

Or go the other way, like Bill Walsh - script the first twenty plays or so of each half, and adjust to what works, injuries, etc.

Logic is an issue with you. Fran looks like a moron(and he is), thus, you don't have enough good players to prevent that. Duh.
You think I can think logically after watching this? Really?

That infers there's actually a SYSTEM in place.

But really, Fran is simple to figure out:

1. 1st half: Whoever strikes first wins. If Fran strikes first, he gets bold. He gets aggressive (for the first half). You hit us in the mouth first? We turtle up and try to play to "keep it close".

2. 2nd half is really irrelevant to the score: If we're winning, we want to run up the middle to burn clock to shorten the game. That way, the opponents can't score as much to catch up. If you are winning, we want to run up the middle to burn clock to shorten the game, so you can't score as much to make it look out of hand.

You guys must really be frustrated Catmom. Like I said earlier, last year I figured the Bobcats would give us a much better game. This year I figured we'd be lucky to leave San Marcos with out butts intack.

There is a system in place, roll a twelve sided dice, if it comes up 1 you will throw once in the first two plays, if it is anything but 1 it run up the middle twice and if it is 12 run it all three times to mix it up.

Every time I think we've turned the corner we play UL and they remind us we are an overachieveing average team at best.

I figure fans from both sides are worried about it. All I know is its a lousy time for UL to start playing well.

Amazing play! Good job Trim. I can't believe how well our defense (secondary) has improved from the first 4 games. They are putting pressure on the wide receivers, they are better at reading routes. 1000% improvement from the previous games.

Think of this game as playing Ark Pine Bluff, it really can't be used as any type of measuring stick on the opposing teams side.

Can't get here soon enough

We, the Cajuns, definitely will need Jamal Robinson back for the Ark St. game. I hope his injury isn't too bad. We need his threat in the passing game, he's a beast!
