NC State has seen FSU and Clemson.

Clemson is better than FSU. That doesn't mean that FSU is not good, but Clemson is better.

After you've been run over by two trucks, I think it's hard to determine which one was bigger.

No, FSU did not run over us. We were in the game until they scored to go ahead by 15 with 2 minutes to go in the 4th. We turned the ball over twice in the red zone, a few other things could have gone our way, but suffice to say, Clemson is better than FSU with Watson as QB. Clemson has the better defense by far.

Clemson had to really Clemson to piss away the FSU game.

If Watson had been playing from the start, Clemson may be undefeated. Regardless, Clemson will not lose for the rest of the year.

I agree. It was the collapse of the Clemson offense under the other kid in the third quarter that caused the Clemson defense to finally collapse in the 4th against Georgia.

State still has a talent gap due to the recruiting failures in 2010/11/12, etc but the Clemson defense was the best I had seen against an NC State team in years. They were in Brissett's face as soon as he had the ball, their coverage was good, they were fast. Half the points they gave up to UNC was in the second half when they went to sleep for a while.

If Clemson finds a way to lose to SC this year Dabo ought to have to eat a live rooster - SC should not stay on the field with them.

So are we going to act like Winston played now vs Clemson? Clemson has 2 losses including losing to fsu with a qb who was 4th string a year ago. I'll take undefeated over Internet respect from random guys

They are not. The only reason the game with Clemson was so close is because Winston didn't play. No disrespect to Clemson, because they are a very good team. But second best in the Acc. FSU has beaten both NC State and Clemson and hasn't lost a game since 2012. I don't believe that FSU will lose a game this season. They are not as invincible as last season but still very, very good.

I learned a long time ago to not go by team A beating team C worst than team B so therefore Team A must be better than team B. Really, Im surprised that you would go down that very crooked road, as you have demonstrated in your posts that you are very intelligent in a lot of areas.

The reason FSU's game with Clemson was close was because of Clemson, Clemsoning with shanked FG attempts and muffed shotgun snaps at the FSU 1, etc. Otherwise FSU loses handily without Winston. However you and Ragu are missing my point.

FSU did not move the ball on us the way Clemson did with Watson. FSU's defense is not was Clemson's was today - FSU did not manhandle us.

We are the only school to play both - we were competitive with FSU, we were not in the game today from the opening kick.

That doesn't mean FSU will not go undefeated and win a back to back national championship.

Clemson is going to beat the dirt peckers into the ground.

It doesn't matter. FSU won the head to head. In what counts they are better than Clemson.

It doesn't matter at all who we think is better between Clemson and FSU now....might as well argue with a wall.....same end result. Means nothing.


FSU has a shot at the playoffs (but no sure thing), Clemson does not, unfortunately, due to 2 losses.

That's for sure as far as special teams. After seeing the game today, I don't think there is much difference between the Tigers and Cards. FSU is clearly #1 until proven otherwise.

It is a welcome to the ACC Moment with UofL...that being said the coaches and players will not back down and they know they have to earn respect.

I think the entire board predicted ul would NOT be the class of the ACC despite near unanimous objections from the ul crowd. Oh well.

You see, that is short sighted. If we finish in the top two or three in multiple sports then that would be our goal in year one of the ACC. We are not a one trick pony. Finishing 1st, 2nd or 3rd in the third best division in college football ain't bad.
