Not all of us do.

It's usually the same two, or three, screeching in protest at every post you make.

Or 5 or 6, or 10 or 11. His periodic rants about how terrible our fans are wasn't helping matters.

It's amazing we're not beating SBC teams by 100 considering the amount of talent (he thinks) we have on the roster.
I simply said they had more talent than any SBC team, but I am surprised they lose games to SBC teams. Again I attribute that to the constant coaching changes.

Hopefully they will have the same staff next year, but I still don't expect them to lose to a SBC team between now and then, because they have more talent, and for no other reason.
Gotta believe that a guy who roots for Texas is an Arkansas State expert.

He's only a Texas fan because his granddaughter told him he has too.

At one point he claimed to be a Memphis, Southern Miss, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Arkansas fan.

No way does any of the listed teams left on their schedule beat them. That being said, should they show up over-confident they could lose to TXST. USA has an outside chance if their QB is on, but he is not very consistent.

You are the one who does it more than anybody else, on multiple message boards. If you disagree, I can go through your post history and prove my assertion.*

Based on the results of the past three seasons, his braggadocio has been much more correct, than your poor-mouthing of stAte. I can go through your post history and prove that as well, if you would like.*

Every time Seminole posts anywhere, you put on your Red Wolf cape and fly to that board, to inform all that "he isn't really an stAte fan." Why? Why does it bother you so much that somebody has higher assessments and expectations of stAte than you?

Seriously, why? The dude usually states that he's not an stAte fan, at some point in his discourse. Why do you feel the need to beat him to the punch? Why do you wish to distance yourself, and the stAte program, from somebody who holds the program in such high esteem? Why is it unacceptable to you that somebody may believe he is an stAte fan?

What's your motivation?

*Challenge my above claims, if you want. I've already been through your post history and know what's there. I feel quite confident that I can prove both.

1) He actually is not a stAte fan so its not a crime to say so
2) We have a very talented team. But his descriptions are so over the top that it is disrespectful to other very talented teams in our league.

Obsessively? I never said it was a crime. I'm seeking the motivation of the obsession, the motivation for the obsessive desire to continually disassociate him from the stAte program.

Conference championships, only three conference losses in three years and the number of all-conference players have lent credence to his assertions, much more so, than the claims of the "real stAte fans," who have argued against him.

Like it, or not, the results have more often, than not, backed up his claims for several years now.

Because a large percentage of the time, the bad rep we get as fans on boards come because of things he said.

He is not only not a "real stAte fan"... he is no kind of stAte fan at all and doesn't claim to be.

Haha.

"The bad rep we get as fans?" Seriously?

Who cares? Who nominated you as defender of Red Wolf kingdom? What does it matter what TommyTrojan, CajunCarl, or JohnnyJaguar think? Here's a clue for ya... Most of them think their teams are better than everyone else too. If not now, they will be soon. That's part of being a fan.

All I'm saying is quit stalking the dude. Whether he is an stAte fan, or not, he's entitled to his opinion, without you following his every post, claiming he's not an stAte fan and no stAte fans agrees with him.

Truthfully, there are quite a few who do.

The reality is, the things he is saying is incorrect. I don't believe that we are the most talented team in this league. Overly talented teams don't get beat up at home by Lafayette, and don't lose 3 of 5 to Western Kentucky, and don't need a miracle to survive a winless Georgia State.

We're a good team, but we're not the Gods of the conference. We may not even be the best team this year. Lets let the year play out before we make that assertion .

We've won 3 rings because of a combination of factors related to our program. 3 different combinations.

Sufficient talent has played a part. But it is only one factor.

While I don't think any other team with the exception of Georgia Southern, will go undefeated in the conference, IMO I think that at least one of these teams have the best chance of beating the Red Wolves:

Oct. 21 @Louisiana
Nov. 8 vs. USA
Nov. 20 @ TxSt

I've seen him claim, multiples of time, he is not an stAte fan, all on his own. Just because he believes stAte has the most talent in the Sun Belt, doesn't mean he's attempting to fake association with stAte, any more than if any impartial observer came to the same conclusion.

I would submit that the results of a full conference season have much more bearing in determining talent levels, than the result of an individual game. Do you disagree?

Exactly. He doesn't claim to be. Why the need to continually, and obsessively dispute a claim that doesn't exist?

Those are the three games which concern me most, as an stAte fan.

We could win all of them, or lose all of them.

I feel most confident about the home game.

No doubt GaSo has the best opportunity to run the table.

As I pointed out earlier today on the AState board, Bama lost at Ole Miss because they uncharacteristically turned the ball over twice and got hit with 8 penalties. AState stands at 2-2 vs. FBS averaging three turnovers per game and 9.25 penalties per game against FBS opponents.

We are a flawed team until we correct that.

Nailed it. I've often wondered why he is so quick to point out our flaws on this board. It's really mind boggling.
