Higher expectations are rapidly being heaped on this team. I think before the season began, hoping for 6-6 was a stretch. I'm enjoying this little ride and the opportunity to win 8-10 games.. but realistically expecting some bumps in the road. We seem to be a little ahead of schedule, but 6-6 and a Bowl game I'm happy.

Realistic expectations right now is only dropping one game we should win. We will be favored in nearly every game here on out (except for maybe Temple) and most of those teams are garbage. Its unrealistic to expect losing more than 2 games to teams that we should beat with the way the team has played.

JF said Hayes was ready to go against Cincy but after cooling down on the sidelines after warmups he wasn't needed so he didn't risk it. Haven't heard anything on Ifedi.

No, and I am sure it will be kept under wraps until game time. Coach has no reason to give the other team any info. And it may depend on how healed they are right up to game time.

To the OP. Hayes was ready against Cincy. Fuente just decided to do with Craft, and that worked out okay.

Ifedi warmed up with the team last Saturday. That tells me he MIGHT be available against Houston. Just guessing, though.

So, I'd say Hayes is ready, but Craft may still start, and Ifedi is probably a game time decision.
