You mean kind of like a southerner uttering "Bless your Heart"?

You on the wrong side of that one too many times?

They buy the ads...it's better than NOBODY buying airtime on Liberal talk radio.

Funny thing was, I watched one of the Blaze TV episodes (they go free every so often on Dish), and they were defending their "Buy Belize" ads, not for the company buying ads, but that Stu was defending the ads as being legitimate.

I didn't know whether to throw up or laugh myself out of my chair

Dammit, Creb, don't give out our secret language. I had people thinking that they were getting a real pleasantry when getting told that!

How does anyone listen to Rush or Hannity?

Hannity is on Sirius.

I prefer John Gibson on Fox News Talk from 12-3 (Friday's last segment isbthe Hip Hop Week in Review) followed by Tom Sullivan.
I have nothing against Rush, just can't like Gibson better. I have met and like Hannity but his show is a 45 sec question followed by a 3 second response followed by a 90 sec question incorporating the 45 sec question plus something else. Ugh.

I've never really listened to his radio program. Some other guy is usually on when I'm in the car. I can't stand little Levin and his annoying little whiny voice. I usually just turn on the radio.

Beck is on in the morning but then again so are Rick and Bubba, the Birmingham group who are hilarious.

RE: Why do you think conservative talk radio...
HOD, I'll disagree with you.. I LOVE listening to Levin most of the time. (I only get to listen to him late night, so I'm listening ot the rebroadcasts). He does get annoying when he starts yelling for what seems to be no reason, but I've learned more in terms of history from Levin (little odds and ends I didn't know) than I do from any other talk-radio host.

Hannity.. i cannot stand. I lost any interest in him, when he went on a pro-Rove tirade one day and wouldn't let his guests get a word in at all.

Hannity: Long 45 second rant.
Guest: BUt if..
Hannity: NO... Another long 90-2 minute rant
Guest: Do you think.;.
Hannity : What did I just tell you... another boring Beltway-cheerleading rah-rah speech.

FIt, I'll give you a St. Louis station you may want to try.. 97.1 (Jamie Allman). Runs from 5 to 9 a.m. CST

He's got conservative leanings, but he's definitely more of a "Libertarian" feel and he's called out some "beltway" republicans. But don't call him a Conservative Radio host.. he even refers to his own show as "Common Sense Radio".

It's the Fox News Radio Talk app on my phone. Since I'm all over it beats trying to find a local station.
Brian Kilmeade is on from 9-12 and is pretty good as well.

Oh okay.

The Sirius Patriot channel is the one that I listen to. Fox has their own station as well.

I think the Patriot Channel is tied in with Beck's Blaze Network.

The Fox Channel is just their TV broadcast. The Fox Talk Channel used to be on but got bumped. Although, it is on some crazy high number on some systems. I drive a 2014 and it's not on my Sirius so....
You should get the app and listen. It's really entertaining. And you could hear me call in from time to time!

It's the same channel in both my cars, or at least it was, a 2010 and 2014. I think it is channel 214 or so.

I think 214 is the simulcast of the Fox News Channel. It doesn't have their radio talk hosts. Although I could be wrong, I just know it's not on mine and I have the super duper deluxe package.

You are probably right. I never listen to it and I must have just assumed when it said Fox that it was talking about the radio stuff.

It makes sense that you'd be right though because I imagine Hannity isn't on two stations at once because I know he is on 225 in his regular time slot.

Fox news is on sirius is 114. The other, where fox radio used to be, which I miss beating Colmes about the head and neck on is 125. Sirius Patriot. That's where Levin is also and his heart wrenching America the Beautiful, by the great Ray Charles on friday eve's. I've found myself throwing down a rake or muting my 15 yo's bubble-pop-she-bop crap to turn that on.

Going on the tailgate playlist, followed closely by the fight song very soon. Unreal

Why does everyone say there is no liberal talk radio? What do you think NPR is? Granted, they don't sell traditional advertising.

Ericrevenge, I was responding to you when I noticed you deleted your post.

Yes, I am serious. It's irresponsible at best, a complete sham at worst to tell someone to take their entire retirement and go buy gold and silver bars, and throw them into a safe. I can't imagine the stress of a retiree who is expected to live on a fixed income whose entire retirement was invested in something as volatile as precious metals. Not to mention, it flies in the face of proper diversification/modern portfolio theory. Not to mention acquisition, insurance, and storage costs. Not to mention inferior tax treatment.

Regarding the "giant elephant in the room" that is the US debt, what makes you think that data isn't already reflected into the current price of precious metals? Don't answer, it's rhetorical. Basically, you're either saying that you have better insight than Wall Street, the Fed, etc., or you're drinking the kool-aid.
