Hopefully Saturday he'll throw a couple towards the MAC West Defensive Player of the Week!
Man I hope it's a good game Saturday. WMU will be getting our top return man back from suspension, and, hopefully, our top receiver from injury.
Not having Phillips on the opening kickoff proved devastating at VT.
Crazy to think this is going to be a battle of two RUNNING teams this year! I'd prefer that to this garbage: http://www.mlive.com/broncos/index.ssf/2..._shor.html
Safe travels to Kalamazoo everyone! At this point it's looking like it will be a nice cool evening. Weather channel is saying rain showers, but I'm SURE that will be earlier in the day.

They're saying a couple of light afternoon showers(Total .04 inches of precipitation-55% chance). Cloudy, High of 56 degrees.
Sunset 7:19 pm
Night:Clear, 49-45 degrees 13% chance of rain
Sounds good to me.

Congrats to Woodside but there's not another MAC west RB with-in 2 ypc of Hunt and he hasn't been able to get a sniff of PoW?
Seriously?
Who votes these things?

Woodside was a monster, besides that one awful pass which turned in to an interception. I haven't seen a passing game like that since Gradkowski. And I only remember one awful wr screen

Anyone notice the variation in the wide receiver screen they ran? Liked it.

Not sure if we're talking about the same thing, but I noticed on one of the screens (it was near the 50, with UT moving S to N, on the UT sideline) where the WR was moving FORWARD as he caught the ball. I'm pretty sure that is how it is supposed to work. He took a couple steps toward the sideline, then started moving upfield. The timing was perfect on it. I forget who it was, but I'm pretty sure it ended up as a first down. It was a thing of beauty compared to the majority of our WR screens.

The Toledo Offensive Line should have been the MAC Player of the Week. The Backs get all the credit for the opportunities created by the OL.

That was it. Quick and effective - and blocked well. I'd like to see the other variation that they last ran in 2002 (that I can remember) against NIU for the MAC West championship. Faked the pass and through over the defenders who were rushing up to make the tackle. Of course we had Gradkowski at QB and he threw it not to L. Moore but to (and I just forgot his name) - the receiver that was about 5'7. That went for six.

Woah, now that's saying a lot. I miss the Gradkowski days.

I mostly meant style of play. A down the field passing attack

Woodside needs to correct some really bad hands. Bobbled several snaps as well as the fumbles. Otherwise a great game. Might throw for 1,000,000 against BG.

Gradkowski:
Pretty sure at the time there was lots of grumbling that he didn't have a downfield arm. Whose memory is short, mine or others that I'm reading on this thread?
The think I remember most about Grad was his command of the line and the field. There was a charisma that was obvious even from on high.

Lol! Although it's going to be tough for him to pass for all that when our first through fourth string running backs will be rushing for 2,000 yards against them.

So 1,008,053 in total offense? (Pringle gets 20 in mopup and Woodside picks up 33just because he can. BG won't get over 800,000 against our improving D.
