RE: Cincy vs Memphis
This game, as it stands, in my opinion, is a crap-shoot. The only thing that would surprise me is if the UC defense shut-out Memphis.

Any other outcome...at this moment in time...seems just as likely to me as the next.

Not real concerned about this one. UC scores 30 plus, Memphis scores less than 20. Memphis O did not even have a pulse last night. 104 total yards. We hang 28 with a 7 called back on a top 20 team. Not seeing all the Memphis love. Need more than a close loss to UCLA and a 3 touchdown loss to Ole Miss to impress.

So the last 3 games they played never happened?

I am confused on how you think this game is going to be a blowout. You judged our O on 1 game. If your defense can run in the backfield like Ole Miss then hats off. By the way Ole Miss was a top 10 team in the SEC. We hung 35 on UCLA who is another top 10 team out of the PAC 12

Memphis takes this one. Cincinatti has no D.

Cincy does have a legit O though.

Defense wins championships.

Have to say this is what we are going to find out. Is Memphis D is good enough to stop the Cinci O enough times. I was impressed with the Memphis D last night. If they could stop Ole Miss, they can stop Cinci. I'm also curious if the Memphis O will click.

Cinci O will be held to lower than there average output. Let's say they put up at 30 - 34 points. I think the Memphis O will put up more than there average output maybe around 35 - 38 points. I put this at Memphis 37 - Cinci - 31.

Before Ole Miss, we averaged 45 points per game.

Where did you see blowout? 30 plus to 20 plus is a ten point game. Memphis is improved, but there are no style points in losses. Beat someone and we can talk. Funny, you were beat by nearly the same amount of points as we were, but a different outlook.

We beat a CUSA team that is good in Middle which no other AAC school could do. Who did you guys beat again? Also the reason our two loses are different is because Ohio State broke records against you while Ole Miss was held to a season low. Also our game was 7-3 through 4 quarters

If it was 7-3 through 4 quarters the final score is 7-3. A win over Middle Tenn. This is not a resume builder. And to be fair, neither are wins over MAC teams. Beat us and you have our respect. Close losses are meaningless. We have accomplished quite a bit more over the last decade than Memphis. I am not going to marginalize your close losses, but at the same time I am not going to elevate you atop the Cincy team. To be the man, you got to beat the man.

Seems like a good match up from what i've seen so far. Memphis has a stout defense and Cincy has a good offense.

The Memphis offense will be back with a vengeance. We will put up at least 40 points on Cincy. Our best defensive player will be back also.

I think this will be a fun game to watch for both sides.

As Rath said, this game could derail the loser to some extent.

As an observer of the Memphis vs Ole Miss game both defenses looked good. I will say I am not impressed with Ole miss quarterback or offense as a whole. They kept letting you hang in there. Memphis looks to have good athletes on offense but very vanilla play calling. Had your coach opened it up a little bit instead of continually running into a front loaded defense I think you would have scored and took the lead early in the 3rd and it would have been a different ball game. Your defense kept stopping them but your offense didn't help you out.

Well if our 1st and 2nd string RB are injured then the run game will be north and south with Wallace and Big Coop in the backfield. The one thing I like about Fuente's recruiting is he loaded us at RB.

We don't need your respect. We know the team we have and it's pretty damn good through 4 games

Was that meant for humor?

If either of us had to identify "the man" in this conference, surely we would both agree that it's ECU at the moment. None of us have a resume to top theirs. We're not playing ECU next, we're playing the Bearcats.

I'm not saying that we're going to win that game, but I'm not going to be arrogant and attempt to elevate our accomplishments to something that I can't back up either.

Ole Miss' defense is top 3 in the country. Cincy MIGHT have put 10 points on them

First one to 45 wins. UC has decided to play old school WAC ball this year.

Thanks for sending us Hank Hughes, UCONN. Preeesh.

I think he meant that more along the lines of the fact that UC and UCF are the only teams with any national recognition, and UC has a longer, more established tradition of such (yes I realize referring to 8 years as "tradition" is questionable, but what we've done in those 8 years has made us a recognizable brand). If you want to get that, you've got beat those who have it.

I think UC will lose every game in the AAC. Our team is so over matched. I expect ECU to get an ACC invite and Memphis to the Big 12 by December.

7 pm kickoff so PBS will be fueled with 8 hours of pregame tailgate. With how inexcusably awful UC's D is right now who knows how this game will go.

actually one called back and the other a bad offensive interference call. Do not even try to tell us the Memphis defense is better than OSU.

Memphis takes this one. Cincinatti has no D.

Cincy does have a legit O though.

They do, but if Memphis steps up on d like it did for three quarters last night I think we can handle them
