I want someone to show me how Rand Paul is not any of the things I stated.
See, though, that's the point. You haven't shown how Rand Paul is any of the things you stated. You just stated you had a 'bad feeling' about him as if it's a piece of tangible evidence.
That's not the premise. You wanted me to examine facts. I stated it was a hunch or a feeling. I did not present any "facts."
However, listening to what a candidate says, is not logical. Obama is a concrete example of that.
Here is what we know: he’s to the left of most of the Democratic Party on key progressive issues like war, drug policy, and over-incarceration. That is through words and action.

And the fact you didn't feel any need to is the problem.
Also, I think you need to realize that neoconservatism isn't the same as conservatism.

I think you need to stop trying to lecture me. We aren't talking about neoconservatism..in which you are confused on what that means.
Do you need proof that Rand Paul is to the left of most progressives when it comes to drugs and incarceration?

No, I just want you to understand that stating something is 'to the left' of another ideology isn't a statement of fact, nor tangible evidence against the validity of the viewpoint.

So anti-religious, anti-gun people that are pro-choice aren't to the left of Conservative ideology?

Wanting to legalize drugs and release felons is a liberal viewpoint.
That is stated.
The rest is my personal feeling about the guy. Sometimes you listen to you gut. Many loons who voted for Obama should have listened to theirs.

Just because you claim something is a 'liberal' view doesn't make it so, and since you're clearly defining it as the opposition to the current republican stances on those issues, you also need to be aware that the last 40 years of the republican party deviate very far from what true conservatism is.
