The #Panthers have signed RB Darrin Reaves (@Engaged2Success) from the practice squad to the active roster.

They play the Steelers at home. UAB NFL reunion w/ Darrin, Joe, and Chris Hubbard...

Game's going to be on NBC, kickoff 7:30, CDT

Carrie Underwood will be leading us in.

Not sure about that nickname for Darrin, that was the name the players gave Dwayne Chandler..........

He has gotten in on the last few plays.

The guy in front of him went out with a knee injury.

No carries & 1 overthrown ball to him.

Jonathon Stewart and mike Tolbert went out with injuries. Add that to deangelo Williams being inactive due to, you guessed it, an injury... and reaves was able to get in the game. I only saw one incomplete pass to him, however... He got in during garbage time when the game was well out of hand..

I think, and correct me if I'm wrong, that his paycheck will quadruple when he is active. Good for him.

During the preseason game when Joe and "D" were in the game together, I never heard the announcers note that they were from the same school. I like to think of it as their "Blazer package" backfield (which scored 2 TDs as I recall).

The pay is $6000 a week for practice squad players; and $420,000 minimum annual salary for 1st year guys. So Darrin should have gotten a game check ~$26,000

Darrin Reaves is now officially listed on ESPN Fantasy Football. Pick him up in your leagues! He's official, baby!

With Carolina backs dropping like flies, I'd expect him to get a carry or two in the near future.
