ThAt would be my pick, but 3 is low. They're showing Ga So some respect there.

That's the way it opened.

This is one of the questions answered - does GS' showing against higher echelon schools translate to victories against peers?

And for the Jags - was the esteem the pundits had for them well placed?

There can be only one.

Beside the Aggies, I've seen more of GS and GSU than any other Sun Belt teams.

From what I understand, USA's biggest strength is a very speedy defense - is that true?

They have a very good defense and were 6-6 last year in their first full year in FBS

Their defense looked pretty strong in the first half against MSU. I have watched most of the Sun Belt team's games (I know...) and I think they will definitely contend for the conference title.

I bet this line flip flops all week.

I'd take GS as well at this point.

GS is playing very well right now and they're playing their first ever FBS conference game vs South. They've also played one more game than USA has. South hasn't shown they can play offense in either of their first two games and faces a unique offense that is more than capable of coming from behind if they need to (see GT last weekend). If this game was in Statesboro, I'd feel very confident with a GS win.

GaSo scares me. Unless our Jags are ready to whup some arsse and learn how to contain a good triple option offense like GaSo has I'd not be shocked at all if USA gets their boots kicked up around their ears.

That said, I think our Jags WILL be ready to whip some arsse ;-)

A win in Boise would go a long way in righting the ship for the Cajuns this Saturday, not to mention what it would do for the SBC. Another blow-out loss and this team could be lost for the rest of the year. I think it will be a very close game that could go either way. There's just too much riding on this game for the Cajuns not to come in very focused on what they have to do. My prediction: UL-L will have a few breaks go their way and will win it by 7.

Typically... the home team automatically gets 3 points. So if it was a neutral site, the line would most likely be a push. If USA could have found a touchdown against MSU, that line stretches out to a 7.

State is showing a 34.5 to a 35 point underdog to Washington with over/under at 68 on espn's line sites.

I think State-Washington could be more interesting than some think. FWIW, I don't think Eastern Washington's offense is any better than Georgia State's. Their defense will keep them from winning it, though.

Should be an entertaining game, though.
